About News Mae Podlediad

Mae Newyddion yn gais cyfweliad am wybodaeth sain. Mae wedi'i ysbrydoli gan ddyluniad fflat afal iOS gyda lluniau i ddangos y blociau gwybodaeth. Yn weledol mae gan y cefndir liw glas trydan fel cenhadaeth i wneud i'r blociau sefyll allan. Ychydig iawn o elfennau graffig sydd, yr amcan, i wneud y cymhwysiad yn hawdd ei ddefnyddio heb dynnu sylw'r defnyddiwr na'i golli.

Unique Properties: News Podcast is an app designed to present everyday the fresh news in audio or video format, some can be live. Users can save favorite podcasts.
Dimensions & Packaging: The "News podcast" project was made in sketch, wireframes and then produced on sketch app in iPhone 375 x 667, our users' standard formats. A design of the iOS apple library, developed in Swift Programming Language.
Tags: Mobile, iPhone, podcast, news, sketch, iOS, protopie
Production Technology: Primarily designed in Sketch and animated with Protopie, Video : Rotato.
Design Challenge: The difficulty came essentially on the integration of advertising, how to give the best information with the newsroom, how to make the application "News Podcast" "intelligent" according to the user's need, how the market behaves with audio information,... Not all of our editors had a pleasant voice listening to the equipment to be set up. The creation of the project was not only about the application but also about the working methodology of our journalists.
Research: Our research and study, comes from the results of our "personas" of our data of our subscribed and non-subscribed readers. We have in place a "hotjar" tracking system on our sites, survey of user tests in summer carried out with "lookback" and "Trint". After that we worked on several designs with "sketch" and worked on a design system for our future project of the same magnitude. Obviously, the research and improvement continues even if the product is on the market. Improvements are still to come.
Inspiration: The goal is to present news in an easy format to listen in cars or when you commute to your workplace. The user can easily follow newscaster or specific theme which inspire them.
Project Duration: News Podcast was started in June 2019 in Brussels and finished in February 2020.
Operation Flow: We analyzed the needs of market and we defined personas. From those personas we designed specific wireframes. From those wireframes we've add functionalities to correspond more to the marketing and redaction team needs. From those we've designed final prototypes which where then confronted to final users to be validated thru a series of corrections and re-validations.
