Proshot Coffee Pakke · 20 spørgsmål

The main idea, taken from nature, from fantasy, there are guards who protect nature. I saw them as giants. This is the way nature produces coffee for us.

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

The main idea, taken from nature, from fantasy, there are guards who protect nature. I saw them as giants. This is the way nature produces coffee for us.

What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

There were several purposes to this design, But the main focus is to show the coffee process steps through revolutionary designing giant characters doing the process as natural bodies. It has simply a good feeling for everyone. (the first is that I wanted to connect with everyone through an imaginary world. Secondly, I wanted to show everyone the stages of the coffee process. Thirdly, through these giants, I wanted to invite everyone to peace and reconciliation with nature.)

What are your future plans for this award winning design?

In the future, we intend to make famous all the giants on the packaging. Show the giants to everyone and we have a big plan to make them bigger. From making small dolls to making cartoons and movies.

How long did it take you to design this particular concept?

Almost a year, from the time of idea generation to packaging printing.

Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?

This project was commissioned by Proshot Company. But I was in charge of the design idea and character creation and printing of the packages.

Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?

All the points of this project belong to Proshot Company and this is an exclusive and registered work.

What made you design this particular type of work?

When the decision was made to use these characters, we were all fighting the Covid pandemic. Depression and discouragement had crept into many people’s life. That's why I decided to put a smile on people's faces.

Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?

The idea, design, and illustration of this package were my responsibility.

Who is the target customer for his design?

Anyone who drinks coffee.

What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?

The difference is in how you approach the coffee packaging design. What you see on coffee packages around the world are all real-world images and approaches. But in the packaging of Proshot coffee, you will be faced with an imaginary world. In fact, we wanted to lead the customer to a world that does not exist at that moment.

How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?

Proshot means super happy in the ancient Persian language. It is already the brand name.

Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?

Pencil, paper, and watercolor

Illustration and creation of coffee giants.

Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?

Here I would like to express my special thanks to the Proshot Coffee Co. crew for their help in producing the content (familiarity with the coffee production process and tools). Undoubtedly, this would not have been possible without them.

What is the role of technology in this particular design?

In order to execute more correctly and better, all the lines on the colors had to be reconstructed. Colors were controlled. That's why I used graphic software when implementing it.

Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?

The process of coffee production and familiarity with simple tools required general research in ancient and modern coffee processing history. That's why I used a special researcher for this.

What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?

Creating characters that are both product-related and audience-friendly was hard work, and most importantly, it was the first time the coffee process steps were shown with cartoon characters on coffee packs.

How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?

When we saw that we had a good idea and a different implementation, we decided to see ourselves in this very important challenge.

And what's better than A'design.

What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?

I learned that to achieve a comprehensive and good job, you have to take a long time and wait.

Iranian artistic culture has very strong roots.

Daity Galaxy Dessertdrik Emballage · 10 spørgsmål

The creative journey began with the idea that each child lives within their own imaginative universe, shaped by colors, emotions, and tastes.

Your innovative watercolor illustrations in Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging create a unique fantasy world for children - could you share the creative process behind developing these characters and how they connect to different fruit flavors?

The creative journey began with the idea that each child lives within their own imaginative universe, shaped by colors, emotions, and tastes. I wanted to translate this psychological landscape into a tangible visual world.Using watercolor textures and hand-drawn expressiveness, I designed five unique child characters, each embodying a fruit’s personality. For instance, Orange is playful and bright, Melonberry is dreamy and romantic, and Mango is warm and friendly. Each character was developed through sketches inspired by real children’s drawings, ensuring authenticity and emotional connection.

The upward-flowing hair design in Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging cleverly directs attention to product information - what inspired this distinctive visual element, and how does it enhance the overall user experience for your young audience?

The upward flow of the characters’ hair was both a visual metaphor and a functional design solution. It represents joy, energy, and imagination ascending, while also guiding the viewer’s gaze toward the flavor name and logo placement. This subtle motion visually integrates narrative and hierarchy, turning a static package into an animated form. For children, the movement feels magical, like gravity doesn’t exist in their world. It keeps their attention on the product in a playful, intuitive way.

Your research with children aged 7-12 significantly influenced Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging - could you elaborate on specific insights from this field research that shaped your final design decisions?

The field research was deeply interactive. I invited groups of children to participate in color preference sessions, storytelling, and sketch interpretation. One key insight was that children prefer emotional colors over realistic ones; for example, they might associate mango with sunshine rather than orange tones.Another revelation was their love for character interaction; they wanted to “see themselves” in the illustration. This guided me to design open, empathetic facial expressions and postures that reflect curiosity and happiness, not perfection.

The color harmony across different flavors in Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging creates a cohesive brand identity - how did you balance maintaining visual consistency while ensuring each flavor variant remains distinct and appealing to children?

Creating a unified brand identity across five variants required a painter’s discipline. The challenge was to balance individual flavor identity with brand cohesion.I built a color rhythm palette where each flavor has a dominant hue supported by secondary tones shared across the range. For instance, the yellow of Pina Colada resonates subtly within Mango and Orange, creating subconscious continuity. This orchestration of tones makes the lineup visually cohesive yet distinctively flavorful.

In developing Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging, you mentioned reaching the common point of children's mental images was challenging - could you share how you overcame this obstacle and validated your design solutions?

Children’s imagination is boundless, which makes it both inspiring and unpredictable. During testing, I discovered that every child visualized fruit characters differently. To resolve this, I synthesized their shared perceptions: brightness, humor, and softness.I refined the characters to be symbolic rather than literal, allowing every child to project their own imagination onto the design. Validation came through follow-up sessions, where the majority described the packaging as “happy,” “tasty,” and “fun to hold.” That emotional resonance confirmed success.

The seven-layer technical structure of Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging plays a crucial role in product preservation - how did these technical requirements influence your creative decisions in the exterior design?

The packaging’s tetraprim structure required careful adaptation of the illustrations to curved and angled surfaces. Each layer, polyethylene, aluminum foil, and cardboard, introduced printing and reflection challenges.I strategically designed highlight areas and gradient transitions to maintain color intensity despite lamination and light distortion. This fusion of engineering precision with artistic control ensured that the final printed result retained its watercolor vibrancy and storytelling clarity.

Your Iron A' Design Award-winning Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging demonstrates a strong understanding of children's psychology - could you explain how you translated this understanding into specific design elements?

Every design element is rooted in emotional behavior mapping. Research shows that rounded shapes, open gestures, and warm hues elicit trust and joy in children. Thus, I avoided sharp angles or aggressive contrast. The characters’ oversized heads and expressive eyes invite empathy, while the tactile visual texture from watercolor gives a handcrafted warmth, bridging the gap between digital illustration and human touch.

The fantasy-dreamy atmosphere in Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging creates a unique brand experience - what specific techniques did you employ to ensure the design resonates with both children and parents?

The dual audience demanded layered communication: fantasy for children, reassurance for parents. For kids, the world is magical; for parents, it’s clean, safe, and trustworthy. The fantasy atmosphere was carefully balanced with structured typography and legible information hierarchy. The use of watercolor, a traditional art medium, also subconsciously signals authenticity and care, qualities parents associate with safe, high-quality products.

As Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging represents a new brand entry into the market, how did you approach balancing innovation with market expectations while creating this distinctive visual identity?

Entering a competitive children’s drink market meant redefining how a brand could look without losing familiarity. Instead of using glossy realism or mascots, I created an illustrated emotional universe, imaginative yet credible. The key was strategic innovation: retaining essential packaging cues (flavor visibility, product type, color coding) while enriching them with storytelling and emotional design. The result is both fresh and commercially aligned.

Looking at the success of Daity Galaxy Dessert Drink Packaging, how do you envision evolving this design language for future products while maintaining its strong connection with young consumers?

Daity Galaxy is not just a packaging design; it’s a visual ecosystem that can evolve endlessly. Future expansions could include animated characters, AR experiences, collectible editions, or interactive storytelling elements, keeping the brand alive in children’s imaginations. The long-term goal is to deepen the emotional continuity between product and user, where every sip connects to a character, and every character inspires creativity. That’s how design moves beyond packaging into the child’s world of wonder.

Neev Isemballage · 10 spørgsmål

The idea began with the observation that both music and ice cream trigger emotional memory. Each has rhythm, tone, and tempo that influence human mood.

Your innovative fusion of musical elements with ice cream packaging in Neev Ice Cream Package has earned recognition at the A' Design Award - could you elaborate on how you developed this unique connection between auditory and gustatory experiences?

The idea began with the observation that both music and ice cream trigger emotional memory. Each has rhythm, tone, and tempo that influence human mood. I wanted to merge these sensory experiences to visualize how taste could sound. Each flavor became a musical composition: Solo for deep, bold chocolate; Duette for the romantic blend of vanilla and berries; Rhythm and Melody for tropical and chocolate variations. By connecting auditory structure to gustatory pleasure, the packaging itself became an orchestra of flavors.

The illustrations in Neev Ice Cream Package demonstrate a remarkable harmony between musical terminology and flavor visualization - what inspired your choice of specific artistic techniques to represent this sensory intersection?

To visualize this connection, I employed vector-based illustration with sharp yet flowing forms, reminiscent of musical waves. Layering and rhythm were central principles: shapes repeat like melodies, and color transitions echo tonal shifts. The key was harmony between abstraction and legibility. Each artwork had to sing, not literally, but emotionally. The result was a symphony of color, shape, and tempo that mirrors both sound and flavor.

How did your background in painting influence the creation of Neev Ice Cream Package's distinctive visual language, particularly in terms of color selection and composition for each ice cream variant?

My painting background guided the entire creative structure. Compositionally, I treated each package as a stage where movement, balance, and color dialogue occur.I relied on chromatic harmony rather than contrast; each tone was tuned like a note to express mood: warm reds and violets for passion, mint greens for freshness, and creamy neutrals for calm. The painter’s intuition about rhythm and negative space was crucial in achieving emotional fluidity across the series.

The emotional synergy between music and ice cream enjoyment stands as a central theme in Neev Ice Cream Package - could you share your research process in understanding and translating these parallel experiences into packaging design?

The research focused on cross-sensory perception, how auditory cues influence taste perception. Studies show that high-pitched sounds enhance sweetness, while low-pitched tones evoke richness.By mapping these emotional parallels, I built a design system where melodic visuals corresponded to the taste profile. This approach turned packaging into a synesthetic bridge, where the act of choosing ice cream feels like selecting a favorite song.

What specific technical challenges did you encounter when implementing the IML printing method for Neev Ice Cream Package, and how did these constraints influence your creative decisions?

Using In-Mold Labeling (IML) presented precise color limitations and alignment challenges. Musical illustrations rely on subtle gradients and overlapping transparencies, both difficult in IML due to heat fusion and plastic curvature. To overcome this, I optimized the artwork for layer durability and visual integrity, simplifying gradients into color zones while maintaining visual rhythm. Technical precision became part of the aesthetic discipline.

Your approach to Neev Ice Cream Package creates an innovative multi-sensory brand experience - how did you balance the practical requirements of ice cream packaging with the artistic expression of musical themes?

The balance emerged through discipline: the package had to protect, preserve, and perform, but also inspire. By designing within strict technical parameters, I discovered creative opportunities, for instance, using lid colors as rhythmic cues that connect product variants visually on-shelf.This synthesis of art and function transformed the packaging into both a practical container and a sensory narrative.

The character illustrations in Neev Ice Cream Package show remarkable attention to detail - could you walk us through your creative process in developing these visual elements to complement both the musical theme and ice cream flavors?

Each musician illustration was developed as a symbolic performer of the flavor’s emotion. The guitarist, flutist, cellist, and harpist are not literal depictions; they represent moods of taste. The design process started with expressive sketches, refining body gestures to evoke rhythm and harmony. Simplified geometric anatomy and dynamic postures help the viewer “feel” sound without hearing it. Every pose visually conveys the flavor’s personality.

How does Neev Ice Cream Package's design strategy align with contemporary packaging trends while maintaining its unique identity in the competitive ice cream market?

Neev’s design aligns with the current movement toward experiential minimalism, packaging that communicates emotion through abstraction rather than excess. While many ice cream brands rely on hyper-realistic imagery, Neev offers a cultural and artistic narrative. Its fusion of art and sensory storytelling positions it within premium emotional branding, appealing to design-conscious consumers seeking meaning beyond indulgence.

In developing Neev Ice Cream Package, how did you ensure that the musical concept would resonate across different cultural contexts and age groups?

Music is a universal language; this was the foundation. I intentionally avoided any cultural specifics, focusing instead on emotion through posture and color. The musical metaphor transcends language and age: a child sees joy, an adult perceives nostalgia.By using abstract illustration, I ensured the design could communicate universally human emotions, excitement, harmony, and pleasure across markets and demographics.

Looking ahead, how do you envision Neev Ice Cream Package influencing future approaches to experiential packaging design, particularly in terms of combining different sensory elements?

Neev represents my belief that packaging can be multi-sensory storytelling. The future lies in fusing sensory channels, sight, touch, emotion, and even sound, into cohesive brand experiences. This project reaffirmed that visual silence and rhythm can create deeper emotional engagement than literal imagery. In future works, I will continue to explore synesthetic design, where form and feeling unite into one seamless sensory dialogue.

The concept of the smiling animal faces was born from the idea that simplicity can communicate emotion more effectively than realism. I wanted to humanize pets without losing their animal innocence.

Your innovative approach to Pavanpet Pet Foods packaging, particularly the use of smiling animal faces, has created a unique emotional connection with consumers - could you elaborate on how you developed these character designs and what specific elements you incorporated to achieve such powerful visual impact?

The concept of the smiling animal faces was born from the idea that simplicity can communicate emotion more effectively than realism. I wanted to humanize pets without losing their animal innocence. Each character was developed through multiple hand sketches to achieve the perfect balance of friendliness and purity. The key visual strategy was to create uncomplicated line drawings with open, rounded facial expressions and slightly exaggerated eyes and mouth elements, proven to trigger empathy and positive emotional response. These characters don’t just represent pets; they represent companionship, comfort, and personality.

The research findings suggesting viewers responded more positively to your stylized animal illustrations than to real animal photos for Pavanpet Pet Foods is fascinating - what insights did this discovery provide about consumer psychology and how did it influence your final design decisions?

The research revealed that viewers emotionally engaged more with stylized illustrations than with real animal photos. Psychologically, this occurs because illustrated faces act as emotional mirrors; they allow viewers to project their own affection and imagination onto the image. This finding influenced the final design profoundly: we minimized realism, emphasized warmth through simplified shapes, and built a visual language of joy rather than documentation. It reaffirmed that authentic emotion in design often comes from abstraction, not imitation.

Your choice of a matte three-layer packaging with aluminum for Pavanpet Pet Foods strikes an interesting balance between functionality and aesthetics - could you walk us through the technical considerations that led to selecting these specific materials and printing methods?

The matte three-layer structure with aluminum was a deliberate balance of protection, sustainability, and tactility. The rotogravure printing method offered exceptional precision for the clean vector lines and consistent color saturation needed to maintain character integrity.Matte finishing reduces glare and provides a premium feel that aligns with emotional warmth. Aluminum ensures product preservation against humidity, vital in pet food storage. In short, every material choice was both functional and sensorially intentional.

The color palette of Pavanpet Pet Foods packaging demonstrates remarkable restraint and impact - what guided your decision-making process in selecting and arranging these specific colors to achieve maximum shelf presence while maintaining the design's simplicity?

Color decisions were guided by both psychological contrast and environmental harmony. I chose vivid yet desaturated hues, mint green, apricot yellow, and warm beige, to stand out on the shelf while remaining comforting and organic. The principle was restraint: each color serves a communicative purpose, supporting the character and aiding quick product differentiation. Through extensive color testing, I found that simplicity in color composition enhances memory retention, an essential factor in brand recall for pet food markets.

Having won the Bronze A' Design Award for Pavanpet Pet Foods, how do you see this recognition influencing the future direction of pet food packaging design, particularly in markets where emotional connection with consumers is paramount?

The Bronze Award validated that emotional intelligence and simplicity can coexist with commercial success. It encourages a broader movement in packaging design, one that replaces over-saturated visuals with human warmth and narrative value.I believe this recognition will inspire designers and brands to prioritize empathy over ornamentation, to create packaging that speaks to the heart before it sells to the hand.

The transformation of Pavanpet Pet Foods from December 2022 to March 2023 represents an intriguing journey - could you share some pivotal moments during the development process that significantly shaped the final outcome?

One pivotal moment came when early sketches were tested with actual pet owners. Their spontaneous smiles confirmed we were on the right path. Another decisive stage was finalizing the balance between the playful illustration and product clarity, ensuring it felt credible yet charming.Every iteration refined not only the visuals but also the emotional tone, transforming the packaging from a simple product wrapper into a small piece of storytelling.

Your background in painting and illustration seems to have profoundly influenced the character designs for Pavanpet Pet Foods - how did your artistic training inform your approach to creating packaging that appeals to both pet owners and commercial objectives?

My background in painting and illustration shaped every aspect of Pavanpet. I approached each package as a canvas of empathy, not just a design surface. The discipline of fine arts taught me to respect balance, composition, and emotional texture. This foundation allowed me to merge aesthetic harmony with market logic, ensuring the design could attract attention while sustaining a sense of artistic authenticity that resonates with pet owners on a personal level.

The dimensional specifications of Pavanpet Pet Foods packaging (200mm x 400mm x 80mm) suggest careful consideration of shelf presence - what factors influenced these precise measurements and how do they enhance the overall design impact?

The 200×400×80 mm format was chosen after analyzing both retail shelving standards and ergonomic handling. The proportion allows the illustration to breathe, maintaining visual clarity from a distance.Additionally, the tall vertical format enhances brand presence in crowded retail environments. It turns the character into a standing figure, almost like a mascot on display, subtly reinforcing recognition and shelf visibility.

Given that Pavanpet Pet Foods represents a departure from conventional pet food packaging designs, what challenges did you face in convincing stakeholders to embrace this more artistic and emotionally resonant approach?

The main challenge was to persuade stakeholders that emotional minimalism could outperform photographic realism. Traditional marketing often relies on literal imagery, but through behavioral testing and clear design logic, I demonstrated how a friendly illustration could generate deeper trust and memorability. It required educating the team about the cognitive science behind visual empathy, a crucial bridge between artistic intuition and market data.

Looking at the success of Pavanpet Pet Foods in connecting with consumers through simplified yet expressive design, how do you envision this influencing your future approaches to packaging design for other consumer products?

Pavanpet confirmed that true innovation in packaging lies in emotional authenticity. Going forward, I intend to extend this principle across categories, from food to wellness and sustainable brands, where design becomes not just an aesthetic, but a language of feeling. Each future project will explore how simplicity, narrative, and psychology can merge to form packaging that not only sells but also connects.

The hand-drawn hen in a headscarf was inspired by rural life and traditional poultry farming. I aimed to evoke trust, nostalgia, and natural quality by humanizing the hen as a caring figure.

Your innovative approach to combining traditional rural imagery with modern packaging design in Parsirang Egg Producer has earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award - could you walk us through the creative journey that led to the hand-drawn hen wearing a headscarf as the central design element?

The hand-drawn hen in a headscarf was inspired by rural life and traditional poultry farming. I aimed to evoke trust, nostalgia, and natural quality by humanizing the hen as a caring figure. Using ink and watercolor added warmth and authenticity. The design connects emotionally, standing out with a handcrafted feel while reflecting the brand’s values—freshness, purity, and a deep cultural bond.

The warm color palette of Parsirang Egg Producer, particularly the use of yellow symbolizing egg yolks and morning warmth, creates a powerful emotional connection - what inspired your specific color choices and how do they reflect the brand's commitment to freshness and authenticity?

The color choices were rooted in emotional symbolism and product essence. Yellow reflects egg yolks, sunlight, and freshness—evoking morning warmth. Red adds energy and tradition, while white symbolizes purity. Together, they reinforce the brand’s rural authenticity, natural origin, and promise of freshness, creating an emotional, sensory link with customers that feels both familiar and genuine.

In developing Parsirang Egg Producer's sustainable cellulose packaging, how did you balance the technical requirements of egg protection with your artistic vision of creating a nostalgic, handcrafted aesthetic?

I chose cellulose for its strength and eco-friendliness, ensuring eggs stay protected. To balance function with emotion, I paired this with hand-drawn illustrations and watercolor textures. The structure met technical needs, while the visuals delivered warmth and nostalgia—blending practicality with a handcrafted, authentic feel that sets the brand apart.

The typography in Parsirang Egg Producer demonstrates a careful balance between bold clarity and artistic expression - could you elaborate on your decision-making process in selecting and implementing these typographic elements to enhance the overall design narrative?

The typography was designed to feel both confident and personal. I chose bold, legible letterforms to ensure clarity on shelves, then softened them with subtle curves and handcrafted touches. This balance reflects the brand’s blend of trustworthy quality and rural charm, supporting the nostalgic, human story told by the illustration and reinforcing the design’s emotional impact.

Parsirang Egg Producer's design successfully bridges traditional farming imagery with contemporary packaging needs - what research insights guided your understanding of consumer preferences and market positioning for this unique approach?

Research showed that consumers value authenticity, freshness, and emotional connection in food packaging. By studying market trends and local buying behavior, I found a gap for designs that feel both natural and trustworthy. This insight guided the blend of traditional rural imagery with sustainable materials and functional structure—positioning Parsirang as both nostalgic and modern.

The dimensional variations in Parsirang Egg Producer's packaging (6-egg, 10-egg, and 12-egg options) present distinct design challenges - how did you maintain visual consistency while adapting the artwork across different package sizes?

To ensure visual consistency, I created a modular layout where key elements—like the hen illustration and typography—could scale or shift without losing balance. I preserved the core visual identity across all sizes, adjusting spacing and proportions carefully. This approach kept the emotional and aesthetic impact intact, while meeting practical and structural needs for each pack.

Your watercolor technique in Parsirang Egg Producer creates a distinctive handmade quality - could you share the experimental process that led to choosing this specific artistic method for mass production?

I experimented with ink and pen sketches combined with watercolor washes to capture warmth and nostalgia. Watercolor’s organic texture added a handcrafted feel that digital methods couldn’t replicate. To adapt for mass production, I refined the artwork digitally to preserve details and color fidelity, ensuring the design retained its authentic, artistic quality on sustainable packaging materials.

The character design of the hen in Parsirang Egg Producer reflects both local cultural elements and universal appeal - how did your background in illustration and character design influence this creative decision?

My illustration background helped me create a hen character that balances cultural authenticity with universal warmth. By blending traditional elements like the headscarf with expressive, approachable features, I crafted a mascot that resonates locally while appealing broadly. This fusion deepens emotional connection and reinforces the brand’s story of care, quality, and heritage.

Parsirang Egg Producer represents a significant evolution in egg packaging design - what aspects of this project do you believe contributed most strongly to its recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award?

The project’s success stems from its authentic storytelling, sustainable materials, and handcrafted aesthetics. The hand-drawn hen and warm color palette evoke nostalgia and trust, while the cellulose packaging aligns with eco-conscious values. This thoughtful blend of emotional design, functionality, and sustainability made Parsirang stand out, earning it the Bronze A’ Design Award.

Looking at the future of sustainable packaging design, how do you envision Parsirang Egg Producer's innovative approach influencing the industry's direction, particularly in combining traditional artistic elements with eco-friendly materials?

Parsirang’s approach shows that sustainable packaging can be both eco-friendly and emotionally engaging. By integrating traditional artistry with modern materials like cellulose, it sets a new standard for authentic, responsible design. I believe this fusion will inspire the industry to prioritize cultural storytelling and sustainability together, creating packaging that connects deeply while protecting our planet.

This technique is a free, dreamy way. The colors are placed together both randomly and precisely, which helps tell the brand story in the packaging. Where we want to tell a dreamy, free, and limitless space.

Your innovative use of watercolor technique in Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging creates a unique visual narrative - could you elaborate on how this artistic choice helps bridge the gap between children's imagination and commercial packaging design?

This technique is a free, dreamy way. The colors are placed together both randomly and precisely, which helps tell the brand story in the packaging. Where we want to tell a dreamy, free, and limitless space. Using watercolor is very exciting for children. The combination of colors and their intertwining, as well as preserving the texture of the paper and its visibility, is very special.

The research phase of Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging involved studying children aged 7-12 - how did their emotional responses and color preferences influence your final design decisions, and what surprising insights emerged from this interaction?

It is very exciting when you are among a group of children in this age range. Their emotions are amazing. What they want is always different from what we think. Their desires and dreams are limitless, but our thoughts end up in a certain framework based on logic. Therefore, I tried to use these emotions in a way that does not harm them. But with a separator in the design, I considered the packaging requirements. In the end, although the illustrations have certain complexities, a combination of simplicity and freedom was seen in the design.

In developing Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging, you created distinct fantasy worlds for each ice cream flavor - could you walk us through your creative process in ensuring each illustration tells its own story while maintaining a cohesive brand identity?

The story begins here, where the brand has prepared itself to face the world of children in order to achieve its goals. An endless galaxy. For this reason, each product had to tell a different story in a specific visual framework. Each package, depending on its contents (the taste of the product), tells a different story in order to challenge its audience. Since our goal in the brand is clear, we had to tell them different stories. Because their mental world is limitless and I had to meet their needs.

The Bronze A' Design Award recognized Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging for its innovative approach - how did you balance the technical requirements of IML application, tamper evidence, and freezer capability with the whimsical, fantasy-driven design elements?

The durability of the design on the packaging is very important. For a design to be durable, all aspects must be considered, considering the storage conditions of the product. Using packaging that has the highest surface area for presenting a visual idea can be effective in its effectiveness in the eyes of the viewer.

Your background in painting clearly influences Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging - how does this artistic foundation shape your approach to commercial packaging design, particularly in creating designs that appeal to both children and adults?

To create a work of art that can influence children, your "inner child" must be active. Creating a childlike world requires you to live in it and to maintain your boundless creativity at all times. Therefore, based on my own experiences and mental and emotional structure, I was able to form this connection and use it in my work.

The detailed illustrations in Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging seem to invite repeated viewing - how did you strategically incorporate various elements to maintain viewer interest and create an engaging unboxing experience?

The design and storytelling of a picture in a frame should be such that everyone can create a different story for themselves. How the elements are put together is a completely sensory issue. This is a very important issue for children who, when they are narrating something, can tell different stories over and over again because of the very wide mental space they have.

What specific challenges did you encounter in translating the abstract concept of a "children's fantasy galaxy" into the tangible design elements of Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging, and how did you overcome them?

One of my challenges was mentally aligning myself with children. They think very abstractly and are very abstract. To do that, you have to live and play in the middle. Another challenge was to apply those deep emotions to a commercial and how these two spaces should sit together and communicate the brand's goals.

How does Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging reflect evolving trends in children's product design while maintaining its unique position in the competitive ice cream market?

Continuous presence in schools and organizations related to children. Presence of children in the production site and inclusion of them in the formation of the product and showcasing the packaging and spaces in the form of weekend and group camps. The main goal of the brand was not to create a luxury product. The brand wants to sit next to its audience and experience stages of childhood with them.

Looking at the success of Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging, how do you envision this design influencing future packaging projects that aim to connect with young consumers?

The world of childhood is not a place that changes with the change of place, time, and physical growth of humans. This world has a special place in the hearts of all of us. Therefore, it is always possible to see and travel to this world at any age, dialect, nationality, and location, and it has a common language.

Could you share how the development of Daity Galaxy Ice Cream Packaging has influenced your perspective on creating designs that foster emotional connections while meeting commercial requirements?

Communicating with an audience always starts with a need. This need varies depending on the type of product and the audience. Understanding an audience comes when you understand them and recognize their emotional needs. Business is not just about exchanging goods. Business is about exchanging the soul of the product and its inner feelings.

Proshot Coffee Pakke · 10 spørgsmål

When the idea of communicating with the audience through a story came to my mind, I tried to build a bridge between this idea and the audience. For that, I created a character and wrote their story.

Your innovative approach to storytelling through the giant characters in Proshot Coffee Package beautifully illustrates the coffee production journey - could you share how you developed these unique characters and their connection to environmental awareness?

When the idea of communicating with the audience through a story came to my mind, I tried to build a bridge between this idea and the audience. For that, I created a character and wrote their story. Yes, they became the guardians of nature and I decided that they would tell the story to the audience. Because the giants had unique characters and no one had ever looked at the story of coffee from such a perspective in coffee packaging, it became interesting for the audience and the giants could speak for themselves.

The watercolor technique and metallic printing elements in Proshot Coffee Package create a striking visual narrative - what inspired your decision to combine these specific artistic methods to convey your message about coffee production?

The watercolor technique in drawing and painting is a free and liberated method. Colors have their expression. The captivating spots in the colors are beautiful and impressive. That is why I used this technique, as it was close to the main theme of the story. In the printing technique, I considered all the ornaments of the giants shiny to emphasize them more. The luxury of the giants, while being simple and primitive, is a tangible contrast in today's world. The confrontation between workers who endure great hardship for a luxurious world.

The nomadic tools wielded by the giants in Proshot Coffee Package present an intriguing perspective on coffee processing - how did your research into global coffee production methods influence these distinctive design elements?

The richest products are always created with different difficulties and skills. The most valuable products must have gone through a difficult path to be different. The more industrialized the production, the cheaper the resulting goods are. The use of nomadic tools in the giants reflects this principle. This shows that the giants live in a world far from industry and technology and that the products they obtain with difficulty are very valuable.

Your emphasis on connecting consumers with producers through Proshot Coffee Package's imaginative design is remarkable - could you elaborate on how you balanced commercial appeal with social consciousness in your creative process?

To get the answer to this question, I will give a topic. I hope I can give a good answer. We live in a world where everything is created through the process of "feeling a need". When society is immersed in various issues, as a designer, I try to create a work with my creativity that is more visible and meets the visual and emotional needs of society. Laughter and good feelings have a great impact on the audience's understanding of your story.

The child-like wonder captured in Proshot Coffee Package stands out in the competitive coffee market - what challenges did you face in convincing stakeholders to embrace such an unconventional approach to coffee packaging design?

When the movement trend of a product in the market is clear, a different path can always make you more visible. You should always appear in a way that others will talk about you. The difference in the vision and purpose of your message is not visible at first, but over time, this difference will open its way and will have its impact on the heart. Undoubtedly, there were many difficulties in implementing this idea, but when it comes to winning hearts, everything takes on a different color. This idea affects the viewer through the "inner child".

Proshot Coffee Package's design seamlessly integrates sustainability messaging with whimsical storytelling - how did you envision this design influencing consumer behavior and environmental awareness in the coffee industry?

There are different ways to get the message across to the consumer. But you have to find a way. When you step into the human being, you can see a different imaginary world. All humans have this world. When a different story is created, a window opens in the audience where they find themselves in a part of that story. At that moment, no one pays attention to what they see but only follows the story and that strange world. This is a profound impact. That is where the story tells its narrative easily.

The technical specifications of Proshot Coffee Package, particularly the three-layer structure and metallic elements, complement your artistic vision - could you discuss how these technical choices enhanced the overall narrative of your design?

The chosen packaging is a normal form in the coffee packaging process. Its three-layer structure helps preserve the aroma and flavor of the coffee. However, the glossy packaging technique makes it more attractive and focuses the audience's attention on the design.

Your field research and comprehensive study of coffee processing clearly influenced Proshot Coffee Package's design - how did your understanding of coffee production technology shape the creation of these imaginative giant characters?

When I started researching the coffee process, I was looking for a way to get my message across to the audience. Using an industrial coffee production environment didn’t help. So I was looking for something that could have a big impact. Something that could tell the story in an exciting and different way. Creating a different character was the best tool. Something that didn’t exist before or was rarely seen. And those were the giants of Proshot Coffee.

The potential for Proshot Coffee Package's characters to expand into animations and figures is fascinating - could you share your vision for how this packaging design might evolve into a broader brand narrative?

Bringing these giants to life will be more impressive than their images. Each of the packages has a complete story and can convey multiple messages to the audience. Without a doubt, the animation of the giants will be very impressive. In addition, making different character figures of the characters, and designing mugs, keychains, T-shirts, etc. can be very effective in promoting the brand. Collecting them for a different collection will be very attractive. It can even be seen in terms of different age categories and branding can be expanded to different age groups. From small to large character figures.

As a Silver A' Design Award winner, Proshot Coffee Package has gained international recognition - how do you see this innovative approach to packaging design influencing future trends in the coffee industry?

In general, when a design with a clear story and a different and influential idea is seen on a global level, the theory arises in different industries that the packaging design process can play an effective role in the growth of the brand and its impact on the audience. Therefore, they will not be indifferent to it and will pay more attention to it in the future. But it will also have an impact on the coffee industry. Without a doubt, manufacturers will realize that the current trend in the market will not be the only way to communicate with the customer.
