About Sky Green Wohnraumgestaltung

Sky Green ist eine in Taiwan realisierte Innenraumgestaltung eines Wohnhauses. Der Grundriss ist offen gehalten, und die einzelnen Bereiche werden nicht durch Wände, sondern durch Materialwechsel definiert. Ein hängender Garten erstreckt sich entlang eines durchlaufenden, L-förmigen doppelten Balkons mit raumhohen Fensterflächen. Die Hauptwand des Wohnzimmers besteht aus Glas, sodass der Garten auch von innen sichtbar bleibt. Eiche, Fliesen, Leder und weitere ökologische Baumaterialien kommen in Holz- und Erdtönen zum Einsatz. Lineare Beleuchtung, Gitterelemente und durchbrochene Schrankfronten verkleiden die niedrigen Deckenbalken. Schiebetüren im gleichen Farbton trennen öffentliche und private Bereiche.

Unique Properties: The design team tried to adopt the urban island-hopping concept of green architecture as the core of this space planning. In addition, there is a hanging garden in the continuous L-shaped double balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows. With wood, the design team planned the open plan design with a bar counter, sliding doors, openwork cabinets, linear lighting, grille, etc., which finally realized an extended and enlarged sense of transparency with the laying of the same tone and different materials.
Dimensions & Packaging: The project adopts an open design. The design team used linear lighting, a grille, and openwork cabinetry to decorate the lower beams. At the same time, the sliding doors in the same color subtly divide the public and private areas. As the space has large floor-to-ceiling windows, the design team also preserves a high degree of privacy in the open plan. Meanwhile, they used wood tones, earth tones, and curved lines to create a more harmonious and fluid feeling.

Design Challenge: The most challenging part of the project was to create a perfect space that would meet the client's requirements within the characteristics and advantages of the space. The space has many advantages, such as lighting, ventilation, spaciousness, and diversity. To create a unique look, the design team adopted the design of turning the TV wall in the living room so that users can enjoy the hanging garden while watching TV.
Research: The design team makes good use of the space to integrate greenery, garden, and living space with the concept of urban island-hopping. With the open plan, the design team adopted curved lines and brownie colors to connect each living area. The spacious space and green landscape lead the users to feel the beauty of life to the fullest. The most ingenious and unique feature is the main wall of the living room, which is a reversal. Different from the usual solid surface of a TV wall, it is made of glass and allows people to see through the hanging garden.
Inspiration: Life is enjoyment, and space is for living. The design team took the open plan green space to bring a completely new housing experience. They mastered the advantages of the site and introduced the natural landscape into the space so that the clients can find a paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the world. With the relaxing time and lush greenery, it is a pleasure to come home.
Project Duration: The project finished in August 2021 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow: Due to the open plan, the design team defined the areas through clever division of materials to maintain the spaciousness of the space. The grille, linear lighting, openwork cabinets, and curved spindles create a coherent and diverse visual effect. Moreover, the design team used natural materials to complement the wood tones and brown colors and echo the hanging garden, ultimately showing a coherent and harmonious style.
