About Shanan Hotel

Inspiriert von der umliegenden Bambusmeer- und Berglandschaft, drückt die Designsprache die Sehnsucht und Ehrfurcht vor der Natur aus. Shanan ist wie eine ideale Stadt, isoliert von der Welt in den grünen Bergen, dem Gesang der Vögel, der Luft und dem Wolkenmeer. Auf halber Höhe des Berges liegen 17 Gästezimmer mit Blick auf das Bambusmeer und die Berge. Shanan liegt tief im Bambusmeerwald an der Shenwang-Linie in der Stadt Baofu, Anji. Als höchstes Haus auf diesem Berg verfügt es über das gesamte Grün und die Hügellandschaft des Berges.

Unique Properties: "Shanan" is like an ideal city, isolated from the world in the green mountains, the song of birds, the air, and the sea of clouds. Halfway up the mountain, 17 guest rooms face the bamboo sea and mountains. "Shanan" is located deep in the bamboo sea forest on the Shenwang Line in Baofu Town, Anji. As the highest house on this mountain, it has the whole green and undulation of the mountain.

Production Technology: Generous use of floor-to-ceiling window design, using Windows to frame the interior, let the hard building mixed with warm and rustic beauty. Major Materials： Art Paint, Wood Floor, Old Wood, Stone, Rock, Metal Hole
Design Challenge: The site was located halfway up the mountain. The biggest challenge was to consider how to present the mountain view in the space without loss of privacy, and it also needed to be designed four independent buildings with the local landscape characteristics.
Research: The meaning of a vacation is not to go to every scenic spot every day or to get lost in a good view. Shan'an" brings a beautiful, healthy and healing way of life. People often miss and feel the power of happiness later in their exhausting daily lives.
Inspiration: Inspired by the surrounding bamboo sea and mountain scenery, the design language expresses the yearning and awe for nature. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, it can trigger deep thinking about life.
Project Duration: The project began in December 2021 and was completed in December 2022 in Anji China.
Operation Flow: Here is more like an omnipotent ivory tower, containing all the yearning for a better life, as well as every surprise inadvertently in the corner. Rammed earth colored building walls restore color to nature; Geometric lines scattered, and more people have a sense of substitution into it. Generous in the use of floor-to-ceiling Windows, which frame the interior, bringing warmth and rustic beauty into the hard building.
