About Vivo X Series Außenwerbe-Installation

Die Vivo X Series ist eine Außenwerbe-Installation, die am North Bund in Shanghai präsentiert wurde. Die Installation bildet zwei Mobiltelefone im Maßstab 1:1 nach und formt einen gefalteten Riesenbildschirm von bis zu 8 Metern Höhe und knapp 12 Metern Länge. Hochauflösende LED-Bildschirme, gebogene LED-Displays sowie Werbematerialien mit unterschiedlichen Oberflächenstrukturen greifen das Erscheinungsbild und die Verarbeitung der tatsächlichen Geräte auf. Radar-Tracking, Körpererfassung und autostereoskopische 3D-Technologie ermöglichen es den Menschen, mit den digitalen Inhalten zu interagieren. Jeder Bildschirm folgt dabei dem Hauptfarbschema eines der beiden Telefonmodelle.

Unique Properties: This installation showcases stunning effects of blending reality and virtuality, delivering a mind-blowing, surreal visual experience to the target audience of mobile phone enthusiasts. The realistic design and high-quality screen display cater to the aesthetic preferences of urban professionals and business individuals, leaving a deep impression on the audience during the experience.
Dimensions & Packaging: This device faithfully replicates two mobile phones in a 1:1 ratio, creating a super folding giant screen that reaches up to 8 meters in height and nearly 12 meters in length.

Production Technology: During the design process, the installation undergoes rigorous material customization and performance testing to ensure durability, robustness, wind resistance, and resistance to obstacles once it is installed on-site.
The installation utilizes high-definition LED screens, curved LED screens, and advertising materials with different surface textures to ensure a 1:1 replica of the phone while maintaining consistency in appearance and detail quality with the actual device.
Design Challenge: Ensuring the long-term usability of such a massive mobile phone installation requires strict material customization and performance testing to ensure good durability, robustness, wind resistance, and resistance to obstacles.
In terms of appearance design, meticulous replication is necessary, including how to handle the edge curves of the large screen and the inner screen area of the folding hinge, as well as achieving consistent texture and gloss with the actual device in terms of surface finish.
Research: Considering the different aesthetic preferences of young urban white-collar professionals and business individuals, each of the two large screens follows the main color scheme of the respective smartphone model. In terms of appearance, the design caters to different gender preferences. This delivers a trendy visual experience to the target audience and creates a favorable impression of the product.
Inspiration: The inspiration for this installation is the fusion of urban landscapes and digital content. The large screen utilizes eye-catching VR augmented reality and naked-eye 3D technologies, combined with the beautiful scenery of Shanghai's Bund, to create a visually appealing and novel experience that embodies the exquisite appearance, attention to detail, and outstanding performance of the mobile phone.
Project Duration: The project is on view from April 9, 2023 to May 4, 2023 at the North Bund in Shanghai.
Operation Flow: By incorporating technologies such as radar tracking, human body capture, and naked-eye 3D, combined with digital content, the installation enables interaction between people and the screen. It can provide real-time monitoring of foot traffic, track interactive data, and facilitate the natural attraction of the product in offline settings.
