About Six Grams Cutlery
Six Grams is a cutlery set made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Each knife, fork and spoon weighs six grams, which is far lighter than metal cutlery. The low weight allows the diner to sense the weight of the food itself rather than the weight of the utensil. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic is also hypoallergenic, so people with metal allergies can eat without concern. The thin black form gives the set an appearance different from conventional metal cutlery. Six Grams was created to place the food at the center of the dining experience.

Design Details
- Unique Properties
- 6g (six grams) is the cutlery of the future, made of carbon fibre (CFRP). When you hold it in your hand, the thinness and lightness of the cutlery make it disappear, emphasising the presence of the food and giving you a dining experience unlike any other.
- Inspiration
- Our inspiration come from the weight of meals. Existing cutlery is almost made by metals so we have the weight of metal itself and meals. But if we can feel the weight of meals when we eat, we may get any other idea or insight, inspiration from the meals. Six grams made by Carbon FRP which is used in aerospace craft is very light weight so you can feel meal directly. Also Metal has the luxury and stable but there is allergy. Our six grams is Hypoallergenic so it is friendy for body.
