Mid Autumn Festival is a very special festival in China. On this festival, everyone will give friends what they think is good. In the design, a beautiful combination of blue and gold, a pale golden moon pattern and beautiful blessing words are used to construct a whole figure, which represents perfection and reunion. Open the box, there are eight metal boxes with tea in them. Eight boxes correspond to eight moon shapes. There is a full moon in the middle, which represents the meaning of hope reunion.
About Li Jiuzhou
Li Jiuzhou is a Chinese designer. Li Jiuzhou majored in visual communication and advertising design as a student. Since my work, I have been groping deeply in design and making cross-border design. - In China, the moon can be represented by gold, while in the sky, I use International Klein Blue. The whole tea box is a circle, which means reunion in China. The box for storing tea inside is filled with eight metal cans. These eight metal cans embody the eight shapes of the moon.
- Research
- Adding the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture in ancient times into the design can make more people understand our Mid-Autumn Festival culture.
- Challenge
- how to make the product conform to modern international aesthetics while retaining the ancient Chinese traditional elements.
- Realization and Technology
- I use International Klein Blue and Gold. The box for storing tea inside is filled with eight metal cans. These eight metal cans embody the eight shapes of the moon.
- Operation and Interaction
- At that time, eight shapes and eight shape names of the ancient moon corresponded to eight cans of tea.
