Regarding Bailu Residential House
Bailu is a residential interior design for a private villa in Chengdu. The original building was an American-style villa of 660 square meters, and its layout did not suit the modern living habits of the owners. The space was expanded and reorganized into a simple modern villa of 1000 square meters, while the original exterior was kept. Each room was given a more balanced area, and a billiards room was added on the lower floor. Natural stone, solid wood and marble were used. Design Details
- Unique Properties
- Without sticking to the original American villa space, 660 square meters area will be reasonably expanded and transformed into 1000 square meters area, and the modern simple villa after transformation, more in line with the owners'modern living habits. After the transformation, the villa space layout is reasonable, each individual space has its own area, and the function has been expanded. The villa is full of artistic flavor and white space.
- Inspiration
- Contemporary simple lifestyle and rhythm, as well as the real needs of the owners, are the source of inspiration for designers. Located in the south of Chengdu, Chengdu Lushan International Community is a well-known high-end villa area in Chengdu. It has good geographical advantages and hardware supporting facilities.
- Research
- Due to the positioning of the community is mainly focusing on the traditional American villa, the spatial structure of the community is quite different from the modern life style of the Chinese people. In order to solve this kind of problem, the designer made creative changes to the space with turning and transforming an originally 600 square meter hardcover American villa into a modern villa of 1000 square meters.
- Challenge
- In the process of design, the most difficult part is the conflict between the original American villas and the owners'modern living habits, and the unreasonable design of each spatial pattern. Through reasonable transformation and expansion, the designer expands the original 660_American villas to 1000_modern simple villas, making the villas more in line with the owners' modern life. Way. At the same time, the layout of each room tends to be rationalized. The landing of the whole project is required by the owner within 6 months. Through the efforts of the design team and the logistics team, the arduous task has been accomplished.
- Realization and Technology
- On the premise of meeting the design requirements and budget, to ensure the environmental protection and natural use of materials, the negative first floor uses pure natural stone material, the thickest place is 10 cm, the thinnest place is only 4.5 cm. The space is mostly made of natural wood, environmentally friendly solid wood, using composite flooring, Italian Caeser floor tiles, staircase floor using marble material, artificial stone, and inlaid with metal glass. Wall paint is clean and simple, no waste, no redundant decoration.
- Operation and Interaction
- The designer will ask the owner to fill in a professional color questionnaire to determine the owner's color preference as a reference for the design. The design firm provides professional full-case trusteeship service mode, provides integrated services of design, construction and delivery. In the process of construction, it also pays attention to the management of the on-site team. In the design, it has its own design flow chart. Soft, hard, business, logistics, brand, engineering and quality inspection are mutually matched. They are in charge of their respective duties.
- Project Duration and Location
- The project started in September 2016 in Chengdu and finished in October 2018 in Chengdu.
- Specifications
- The original villa is 660 square meters American-style villa, which does not meet the needs of customers for housing. In the case of maintaining the appearance of the original villa, after reasonable expansion and transformation by the designers, the villa has become a 1000 square meters modern simple villa. The area of each space is more moderate. The daughter's room expands from 14.4 to 24, the attic of the roof expands from 18.7 to 48, and a billiards room is excavated in the family hall on the negative first floor.
