About Dragon Ĉefa Funkcio: Interna Dezajno de Restoracio

Dragon estas restoracia interno situanta ene de financteknologia oficeja konstruaĵo en Pekino. La dezajno kovras 2500 kvadratajn metrojn kaj celas trankvilan etoson bazitan sur naturaj elementoj. Ĉefa defio estis, ke 80 procentoj de la manĝspaco kuŝas subtere kaj ricevas neniun naturan lumon. La naturo do estas simulata. Akvofalo kaj lageto estas formitaj el gisita betono per cifereca teknologio, kaj kupraj anasidoj ŝajnas naĝi sur la surfaco. Privataj manĝejoj memorigas pri la formo de valo, kun plantoj kaj sezonoj, kaj simulata lumo subtenas tiujn fermitajn areojn.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Research: cast concrete. simulated natural light
Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
Project Duration: 2019-2020, Beijing
Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
