About Baia Noktoklubo

Baia estiĝis en Shibuya, la centro de la Tokia metropolo, kiel kaverno kiu subite aperis en la urbo. Ĝi konsistas el kvin etaĝoj: kelo, tri etaĝoj kaj tegmenta teraso, kaj la dezajna koncepto de la tuta spaco estas kaverno ene de la urbo. La dezajnistoj kredis ke nur minimalista dezajno povus bildigni la fascinan kaj ekzotan atmosferon de kaverno, kaj realigis tion minimaliste per smeraldverda lumigado kaj mortero, kiujn ili opiniis taŭgaj por ĉi tiu moderna kaverno. La lumigada plano de fascinaj smeraldverdaj lumoj aldonis glamuron al la spaco kaj helpis bildigni la dezajnan koncepton.

Unique Properties: “a cave within the city”
BAIA came into existence in the center of Shibuya the center of Tokyo metropolitan as a cave suddenly appeared in the city. BAIA consists of 5 floors; a basement, 3 stories and a rooftop terrace, and the design concept of entire floor is “a cave within the city.” We believed only a minimal design could visualize the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave, and kept it minimal using emerald green lighting and mortar which we think suited for this modern cave. The lighting plan of fascinating emerald green lights added a glamor to the space and helped to visualize the design concept “a cave within the city.”

Inspiration: We were inspired by the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave. We hope to trigger a chain reaction of positive inspirations by making an appearance of the design inspired by a cave in the very center of Tokyo.
