About Velaria Loĝeja Interna Dezajno

Production Technology
The project was realized using a combination of custom millwork, marble cladding, bespoke furniture, and integrated lighting systems. Advanced carpentry detailing and precision marble installation were employed to ensure visual alignment and harmony across surfaces.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge was integrating luxury aesthetics without compromising spatial warmth. Ceiling heights and beam placements required creative detailing to maintain proportions. Custom furniture was developed to meet exact fit and flow across zones.
Research
Research involved case studies of luxury villas, boutique hotels, and homeowner lifestyle preferences. Feng Shui consultancy was conducted to optimize flow and room arrangement. Material research focused on acoustic control, tactile textures, and humidity resilience.
Inspiration
Inspired by the concept of sanctuary living, the design reflects a desire for a luxurious retreat that feels like home. It draws from Malaysia's tropical context with soft lighting, natural textures, and open flow. Influenced by modern lounges and feng shui, the layout offers visual connection and harmony. European interior palettes inspired the rich materials, aiming for a timeless and elegant space.
Project Duration
Design development spanned 2 months, followed by a 12-month construction timeline. The project is located in Penang, Malaysia.
Operation Flow
The layout allows fluid movement between the entertainment lounge, bar, and dining zones. Residents interact intuitively with the space through open sightlines, soft seating transitions, and layered lighting scenes. The master bedroom is designed for retreat, while the public areas encourage gathering and celebration.
