About Agape and Poliform Flagship Store Sala de exposición

La tienda insignia de Agape y Poliform es una sala de exposición y venta ubicada en Taichung, Taiwán. El interior emplea principalmente el negro, el blanco y el gris, de modo que el espacio se mantiene como un fondo sereno para los productos exhibidos. Los materiales de madera aportan una sensación cálida y equilibran los colores fríos. En lugar de añadir ornamentación innecesaria, el diseño aprovecha el propio edificio antiguo, cuyos numerosos ventanales de gran tamaño permiten la entrada de luz natural. Las luminarias y la luz solar crean en conjunto una atmósfera cambiante a lo largo del día. Este escenario neutro se adapta también a los productos futuros, lo que reduce el desperdicio de materiales derivado de las remodelaciones repetidas.

Unique Properties: The products are attractive because of its simple and elegant appearance. To suit for the products now and later, the space mainly use color black, white and grey. By using basic color, simple line and lighting effect, instead of stealing the show, the space brings the most suitable background to the products.

Design Challenge: Integrating original building structure, design concept and product to present in the most proper way.
Adjustment for the light and shadow, and planning smooth traffic flow
Inspiration: Considering that the products are elegant with its simple line and color, and it might be renewed every season, the space should be designed not only for the products in present, but also for the new products in future. Moreover, the store would be in an old building, which has lots of huge windows that bring much natural light. Owing to above concerns, designer tried to take advantages of building rather than adding too much unnecessary materials to create the space.
Project Duration: The project started in October 2019 and finished in June 2020.
