About Choppoq Purificador de aire

Choppoq es un purificador de aire diseñado para hogares y espacios de trabajo. El aire se aspira a través de una entrada situada en la parte inferior mediante un motor sin escobillas y unas aspas ultrasilenciosas. A continuación, el aire atraviesa un filtro de nanocarbono y una luz ultravioleta, que eliminan las partículas y los gérmenes, antes de salir por una abertura en la parte superior. El cuerpo principal y la estructura están fabricados en plástico moldeado por inyección, y un botón táctil controla el encendido. Su forma fluida se inspira en la torre de viento de Sirjan, en Kermán (Irán). Los colores pastel y una silueta minimalista permiten que Choppoq funcione también como objeto decorativo.

Unique Properties: In designing Chppoq, efforts have been made to pay attention to the needs of people in a modern society, both in terms of efficiency and aesthetics.

Production Technology: Injection moulded plastic for main body and frame.
Design Challenge: The biggest challenge in designing this product has been to create a balance between form and product design as well as its proper performance as an air purifier.
Research: Choppoq is a product that meets the needs of modern life, Inspired by the creativity, aesthetics and science of the past. Air pollution is one of the major urban problems that people suffer from. Therefore, Choppoq is a product which is designed to solve this problem, at least in private and indoor places.
The pastel colors as well as the minimal form that has been chosen for this product, has made it to be used not only for air purification but also as a stylish object in the home or work environment.
Inspiration: The concept of flowing inspired by one of the most famous and different windcatchers called Sirjan windcatcher in the city of Kerman, Iran. The appearance of this windcatcher distinguishes it from other examples in Iran. This model, unlike the other ones ,has a number of air inlets that has been made in the shape of a pipe.
Project Duration: The design and production of Choppoq started in April 2020 and finished in August 2020.
It should be mentioned that all the stages of development from the situation analysis and problem research to the prototype construction had been completed in Tehran, Iran.
Operation Flow: First, air is drawn inside the product by a fan from its underside air intake , and after passing through a nano-carbon filter, as well as UV light, it is cleaned of all particulates, germs and viruses. After passing these steps, fresh air comes out of the outlet located at the top of the product.
