About Electric Race Bike Elektrijalgratas

Electric Race Bike on maanteesõiduks välja töötatud kerge elektrijalgratas. Raam on valmistatud kevlari ja süsinikkiu kombinatsioonist, mis muudab konstruktsiooni tugevaks ja väga kergeks. Kogumass on 9,5 kilogrammi. Keskmootor annab jõudu ja pöördemomenti sõitja abistamiseks. Akul on patenteeritud konstruktsioon ja see on peidetud raami sisse. Kasutatud on professionaalses jalgrattaspordis levinud tippkomponente. Geomeetria järgib maanteejalgratta oma ning vormi täiustati tuuletunnelis aerodünaamika parandamiseks.

Unique Properties
One of the worlds lightest electric bicycles with a weight of only 9,5 kilos. The frame is made out of a kevlar and carbon combination making it both strong and extremely light at the samle time. A unique center motor is used to create the right amount of force and torque for the rider when he or she uses the bike. The battery is a patented construction hidden in the frame. The bike is equipped with high end components seen in professionel cycling. This is the ultimate electric bike for the rider who is looking for a little asistance.
Dimensions & Packaging
180 cm x 95 cm x 55 cm. Weight 9,5 kilo

Production Technology
A variation of materials are used to realise this vehicle. Alluminium, Carbon and steel
Design Challenge
The most critical challenge was to get the weight down to a record breaking level. The electric bicycle has a race bike dna and must therefor be light. But having the added weight of a battery and a motor was the most difficult challenge. The way we have solved the challenges is by using untraditional materials for an electric bike such as carbon and kevlar instead of metal and alloy
Research
We have done research in aerodynamics, weight ratio to stiffness of the frames. This is a totally new method in the electric bicycles industry where those parameters mentioned has not been explored before now with our new Maserati bicycle product.Protanium/Asia Kingston has the licence rights to use the Maserati brand for electric bicycles.
Inspiration
We are inspired by the racing industry as know from the professionel cycling scene. We are inspired by the geometry of a real racing bike in order to create this special vehicle.
Project Duration
12 month from first sketch to final product. Made and developed in Croatia
Operation Flow
The use of windtunnel was used to create an optimised aerodynamic for the racing electric vehicle.
Patents
