About Erhu Aulkia

Erhu aulki bat da, erhu izeneko tradiziozko txinatar hari-musika tresna batean inspiratuta. Diseinuak kultura nazionala altzari modernoen hizkuntza gisa erabiltzen du, eta estilo txinatar garaikide bat esploratzen du. Egitura sinplea da, bi zati bakarrekin: eserlekuaren gainazala eta hankak. Aulkiaren bizkarra, eserlekuaren gainazala eta aurreko hanka aurrez prestatutako molde batean prentsatutako kontratxapatu kurbatuzko pieza bakar batez osatuta daude. Unique Properties: Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture.
The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs. The chair back, seat surface and front leg are made of curved plywood as a whole, and the three dimensional seating space is completed with two dimensional curves fitting the shape of the human body.

Production Technology: The integrated shape of the seat surface, chair back and front leg is completed by pressing the curved plywood in a premade mold.
The surface used ash wood and walnut for veneering. The legs are made of walnut.
Design Challenge: The abstract timbre of Chinese classical Musical Instruments is interpreted in a figurative and modern style，On the basis of inheriting and developing traditional Chinese culture and craft, it used modern bentwood technology to make furniture with contemporary Chinese style.he structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs.

Inspiration: The design is inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument. Erhu’s unique timbre is presented in the form of seats by interpreting the intangible with the tangible.
