About Molten High ساختمان مسکونی چند طبقه
مولتن های (Molten High) یک ساختمان مسکونی چند طبقه است که در شهری گرم و خشک در هند، جایی که سفالگری حرفه‌ای سنتی به شمار می‌رفت، واقع شده است. این طراحی یادآور ظرفی سفالین است که در حین ساخت دچار تغییر شکل شده و سپس پخته شده است. پوسته‌ای پارامتریک، راه‌پله جنوب‌غربی را می‌پوشاند و نور فیلترشده و تهویه هوا را به پلکان می‌رساند و تضادی با آرایش ساده‌ی پنجره‌ها و بالکن‌ها ایجاد می‌کند. ظاهر مذاب‌گونه‌ی نمای ساختمان با تیغه‌های پلاستیکی بازیافتی و سفارشی‌ساخت پدید آمده است. این ساختمان در پلان ابعادی ۲۰ در ۴ متر دارد و تا ارتفاع ۵۰ متر بالا می‌رود.

- A parametric skin on the southwest staircase to bring in filtered light and ventilation as a contrasting character to the simple and refined array of window and balconies.

- The traditional profession of the locality was pottery which needed to be interpreted and magnified to an international podium.
- Research
- The site context was studied to come up with the concept of the design. The pottery art of this town was to be highlighted in a modern contemporary manner to communicate to the international audience.
- Inspiration
- The Residential Building is in the city of a hot and dry Tier 2 Town of India where pottery used to be a traditional profession. Molten High is an expression of a clay container being deformed while in its making and eventually baked to form an artistic expression of the traditional profession of the town.,
- Project Duration
- The project is under construction at site. The design phase started in July 2020 and was delivered by Jan 2021

- the staircase has been designed with an external skin to allow light and ventilation into the staircase.
