About Blink دستگاه پزشکی خانگی
بلینک یک دستگاه پزشکی خانگی است که برای اندازه‌گیری علائم حیاتی و انجام آزمایش‌های پزشکی پایه طراحی شده است. این واحد کم‌حجم، فشار خون و دمای بدن را اندازه‌گیری می‌کند و از آزمایش خون، ادرار و بزاق نیز پشتیبانی می‌نماید. بلینک کاربر را در تمام مراحل جمع‌آوری داده‌ها و ارسال نتایج به پزشک راهنمایی می‌کند و پزشک نیز می‌تواند بازخورد خود را ارسال کند. پروفایل‌های کاربری امکان استفاده چند نفر از اعضای خانواده از یک دستگاه را فراهم می‌آورد. داده‌های خانگی قابل اعتماد به تشخیص بیماری کمک کرده و زمان، هزینه و انرژی مورد نیاز برای آزمایش‌های معمول را کاهش می‌دهد. ابعاد بلینک ۲۰۰ میلی‌متر در ۱۳۰ میلی‌متر در ۱۶۰ میلی‌متر است.

- Unique Properties
- Blink was designed to be used at home by patients to measure their vital signs and perform basic medical tests. It guides users through the process of collecting data and reporting it to their physician. It also enables physicians to provide feedback to patients, enhancing the doctor-patient relationship. Blink empowers self-care, encouraging users to be more proactive with their health. By producing reliable

- One of the design challenges was to determine the product’s core elements and to organize them in the most accessible and compact way. Hygiene, guidance, and communication were the main considerations. The device also had to be suitable for home use and guide the user through each stage of use.
- Research
- My original impetus for the idea was to empower the user to be more proactive about his health rather than being reactive. In order to increase the quality of healthcare, I tried to find alternative solutions for better and healthier communication between the patient and the physician. I have visited biochemical labs of hospitals to decide the best vitals for home tests. I had a chance to speak with physicians and biochemists and discuss my project aim. After the design process, I did interviews and user testing with end-users for seamless user experience.
- Inspiration
- Blink is a smart monitoring device that shifts the experience of performing medical tests from long lines and long waits in hospitals to a simple and unobtrusive task undertaken in the comfort and convenience of home. In the current healthcare system, a great deal of time, energy and money is expended to receive detailed health information. Blink aims to change that.
- Project Duration
- The project started in February 2016 in Ankara and finished in June 2016, was exhibited in Science at Home Exhibition in Ankara and Turkey Design Week Exhibition in Istanbul.
- Operation Flow
- Through its straightforward, compact design, Blink measures blood pressure, body temperature and can be used to perform blood, urine and saliva tests. With the easy-to-use interface and the ability to set up profiles, multiple family members can use the same device. It is simple, userfriendly, multifunctional and hygienic.
