About Raised History Festival Ljochtynstallaasje

Raised History is in festival ljochtynstallaasje makke foar in Krystbarren. Pleatst by in âlde grêft, foarmet de ynstallaasje in visueel brânpunt en bringt in feestlike sfear yn it havengebiet.

Design Challenge: The most difficult part was the structure of each wooden lattice. The structure had two curves, one for horizontal skirt under each layer and the other for vertical facade, and much more calculation was necessary than ordinary curved shape by lattice.
Inspiration: We leverage historical elements of the city, planning colors that represent each era and transforming them into projected light hues. Employing the sailboat keel structure from the port's establishment 400 years ago, we create a rhythm with undulating curves, giving the entire tree an elegant and dynamic appearance.
Project Duration: The project started in November 2023 in Tainan City, Taiwan and finished in December 2023. The installation was built for Christmas event which was held for 1 month.
