Oer The Rules of War Primêre Funksje: Posterrige
De Regels fan de Oarloch is in posterrige oer ynternasjonaal humanitêr rjocht en de regels fan behearsking yn wapene konflikt. De rige brûkt foaral negative romte, sûnder kleuren, foarmen of figueren dy't nei ien of oare kant fan in konflikt ferwize kinne. Fjouwer tema's presintearje de dielde lear fan it ynternasjonaal humanitêr rjocht en de Koran. De posters binne makke om dizze regels tichter by Arabysksprekkende en moslimske publyk te bringen tidens Ramadan. Elke poster mjit 1000 by 700 millimeter en is makke foar sawol print- as digitaal gebrûk.

- Unike Eigenskippen
- The thought-provoking poster design series utilizes mostly negative space to illustrative conceptual ideas about the rules of restraint in conflict. The brief entailed to include no colors, shapes, or figures that could point fingers at any sides of warring conflict, and so the use of a neutral but powerful image was the answer.

- Undersyk
- To kickstart, an observation of the perception of the Red Cross in the Arab region amongst Muslim countries was taken note of, which was that it was a Christian organization that is secular even in providing aid and people were skeptical to donate money to it. Research was conducted on the similarities between International Humanitarian Law, which is essentially the mandate of Red Cross, and Quraan, which is in some sense the "mandate" of the aforementioned audience. The similarities were very clear and directly instructed, and therefore, four themes were identified to be visualized.
- Ynspiraasje
- Created for the worst of times, International Humanitarian Law preserves the core of our common humanity. However, with the amount of shocking violations to it nowadays, its capacity to provide real protections for the victims of today's complex armed conflicts has been in question by many. To bring international humanitarian law closer to Arab speaking audiences and Muslim communities during Ramadan, this set of posters was created to stir conversation and communicate the very similar teachings of International Humanitarian Law and Islam.
