About Milano Living Green Ionad Cónaithe

Is ionad cónaithe é Milano Living Green atá deartha do limistéar tionsclaíoch ar cúlú i Milano. Baineann an tionscadal athúsáid as toirt an fhoirgnimh atá ann cheana féin agus leanann sé coincheap na ngairdíní ar snámh. Coinníonn dhá fhoirgneamh 51 árasán de mhéideanna éagsúla, gach ceann acu le balcóiní agus gairdíní príobháideacha dhá urlár ar airde. Áirítear i measc na spásanna comhroinnte halla fáilte, seomraí suí laistigh agus lasmuigh, linn snámha laistigh, agus limistéir ghlasa fairsinge le crainn curtha iontu. Sásaíonn na hárasáin ardchaighdeáin ranga fuinnimh, rud a laghdaíonn tionchar comhshaoil an ionaid.

Production Technology
The project aims to change the shape of the existing building, creating new alignment of the main faccade and developing parallel axis to the part of the internal courtyard. Visual convenience, living comfort, and energy efficiency are the main features of the living units through a visual journey characterized by its semi-transparencies and some strong perspective lines.
Design Challenge
The building object of the intervention is located in a residential and tertiary area, where there are no particular elements relevant from the landscape point of view and does not belong to a place characterized by a high level of consistency. Furthermore, the route is not subject of environmental restrictions.
Research
The project seizes the opportunity to contribute to the growing avant-garde trend in the Lambrate area with its charming galleries, exhibitions, and lofts who make this location ideal for conceptual projects. The social adventure surrounding the area is undoubtedly valuable. Based on the concept of floating gardens, the aim of the intervention is to guarantee the inhabitants a wide visual breath through games of transparency with green gardens with a double height.
Inspiration
The project develops the creation of a new residential complex with a green, sustainable trend, where nature takes center stage promoting harmony between the people and their habitat, where plants, trees and humans coexist, living in the city like in the countryside, minimizing the negative impact on the environment. The project will be inspired by this new kind of modernity given by the concept of floating gardens, the wide and bright windows and its wise use of materials.
Project Duration
Located in Lambrate area - the "Milanese Brooklyn" - known for its contemporary and artistic feel, the neighborhood is seeing a new phase of great renewal and expansion.
The construction is scheduled to start in October 2020.
Operation Flow
Milano Living Green flats are designed following the newest and highest A-energy class standards, strictly due to the latest criteria in terms of environmental sustainatility and thermal efficiency, while using advanced heating systems and the highest quality materials developing a zero-waste residential complex.
