About Majestic Teach Cónaithe

Seasann an foirgneamh seo ar shuíomh fánach, is í an dara urlár an crios poiblí, lena n-áirítear an bealach isteach, an seomra suí, an seomra bia, agus an cistin, agus is í an chéad urlár an crios príobháideach, lena n-áirítear seomra codlata an lánúin agus seomra na leanaí. Mar a luadh thuas, tá an bealach isteach ar an dara hurlár, agus toisc go bhfuil an foirgneamh ar fhána, tá cuma tí aonstórach ar an aghaidh. Tá an taobh amuigh críochnaithe le cloch sclátacha nádúrtha dubh agus tíleanna cosúil le marmar ar na ballaí seachtracha agus na fálta, agus maisithe le obair gréille adhmaid agus péint bhán chun atmaisféar maorga ach measartha bog a chruthú.

Design Challenge
The design process was extremely difficult because of the sloping site.It would not have been easy to solve all the problems such as the impact on the neighboring site, the ground improvement work plan, and the sunlight plan, and to create a building with a beautiful, functional, and universal appearance.
Research
This is a two-family house for an elderly mother and her two young children.
In order for people of different generations to be able to coexist, the zoning was devised in such a way that they share a living room while ensuring privacy for each other.
The mother's private room, living room, kitchen, and spacious tray are located on the second floor, where the entrance is located, in order to avoid stairs and other steps for the elderly mother as much as possible.
Inspiration
The building sits on a sloping site, with the entrance on the second floor, so from the façade it appears to be a one-story building. The exterior walls and fences are covered with natural slate stone and marble tiles, accented with wooden latticework and white paint, creating a design that is both stately and moderately soft.
The interior is a complete change from the exterior, with white and wood grain as the base colors, accented with glaze, creating a bright and fresh atmosphere.
Project Duration
Project Duration : From August 2022 to January 2024
Project location : Nara(Japan)
Operation Flow
The entrance is on the second floor and serves as the main floor. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are seamlessly connected. The living room floor is two steps lower than the dining room and kitchen, and this difference in level sometimes functions as a bench. There is also a private room for the elderly mother, creating a space where all family members of different generations can relax.
