Tags: Architecture photography, minimal, building, pastel colours, landscape, California, surreal world
Production Technology: iPhone 14 for landscape photography, Sony Alpah 7rll for architecture shots, Adobe Photoshop for compsoing
Design Challenge: The most challenging part of my work is always the perspective. Angles, pattern, and lines change when one changes the point of view, a good and interesting angle let every building look striking. Finding the right perspective in my existing architecture shot for my new landscape shot was quite challenging, as well as combining them seamlessly.
Research: I'm always looking for ways to improve my work/skills. I have a passion for surreal landscapes in a pastel colour scheme. With this series I finally combined my passion for architecture photography with some outstanding Californian landscape shots. I've used the photo editing program Photoshop.
Inspiration: I’m a passionate graphic designer and self-taught architecture photographer. Exploring geometry in architecture is really exciting to me. My work combines art and photography and lets people dive into a different world. I give the buildings a surreal touch in my retouching process.
Project Duration: I've shot the architecture objects bewteen 2018 and 2024, the landscape shots are all taken in April 2024 and I composed them in August 2024.
Operation Flow: The images can be used for a physical exhibition or in any digital format.
