About Parachute Sgeilp Balla

'S e sgeilp balla air a dèanamh de mheatailt-duilleig a th' ann am Parachute. Nuair a thathar a' cleachdadh earrann, tuitidh planca na h-earrainn sin sìos agus crochaidh e na àite. Cumaidh am planca crochte còta, iris no rudan coltach riutha, gan cumail bho bhith a' tuiteam. Tha stiallan dathte air an uachdar, air an sgaradh le beàrnan tana, agus mar sin tha an sgeilp a' toirt gu cuimhne coltas grafaigeach paraisiut nuadh-aimsireil agus faodar a leughadh cuideachd mar ealain balla. Tha Parachute 790 mm de leud, 30 mm de dhoimhneachd agus 220 mm de dh'àirde. Tha an t-ainm a' ceangal bheachdan mu dhìon agus mu thuiteam.

Parachute was made by sheet metal.
With the colored stripes separated by thin spaces, the graphic design is reminiscent of a modern parachute; this theme is transformed, in a recognisable and aesthetically successful manner, into an original shelf design.
Design Challenge
Yusuke Watanabe designed a new type of wall shelf, looks like Wall Art.

Yusuke Watanabe was worried about color of gradation, Through trial and error we found best ways. looks like Wall Art.
Inspiration
When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to me to look up the word "Parachute."

It seems that the name "parachute" comes combining the Italian "parare" (to protect) with the French "chute" (to fall).

I thought that was a rather fine name.
I tried to think of devices that protect against falling.
