About La Galerie Dearadh Taobh Istigh Cónaithe

Is dearadh taobh istigh cónaithe é La Galerie d'árasán 132 méadar cearnach sa Téaváin. Rinneadh athchóiriú iomlán ar an teach 33 bliain d'aois, agus baineadh amach na deighiltí uile agus athshainíodh gach limistéar. Cruthaíonn tonnaí bána cúlra cosúil le gailearaí do phictiúir a léiríonn an t-earrach, an samhradh, an fómhar agus an geimhreadh. Treoraíonn ballaí cuartha an ghluaiseacht agus tacaíonn siad le sreabhadh solais nádúrtha agus aeir. Baintear úsáid as adhmad, miotal athchúrsáilte, cloch agus fabraic, agus baineadh amach agus athchúrsáladh na fuinneoga alúmanaim bunaidh. Úsáideann seomraí príobháideacha tonnaí níos dorcha, mar shampla glas dorcha.

Unique Properties
The space evokes the feeling of a painting, with layered green waves reminiscent of spring moss. A summer wave painting faces the floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting the warmth of sunlight and the scent of the sea breeze. The long, narrow layout allows natural light to flow from both ends, illuminating the dining area and kitchen. An autumn painting with deeper brushstrokes symbolizes the season, while curved walls create stability and guide movement. A winter-themed painting in the dining area captures the shifting light, completing the four-season theme.
Dimensions & Packaging
The 33-year-old apartment has a total area of 132 square meters, featuring three bedrooms, a study room, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. In terms of layout planning, the designers undertook an almost complete renovation. They removed all the partitions and analyzed each space from an artistic perspective to redefine its purpose. Unlike the conventional layout where the living and dining areas are combined, this project was customized to better suit the owner's lifestyle, creating a unique flow.

Production Technology
The design incorporates wood and recycled metal, with the original aluminum windows removed and recycled for structural safety. Accents of metal strips, stone, and fabric add to the gallery-like atmosphere. The space features rich layers of white tones, with paintings representing the four seasons-spring, summer, autumn, and winter-strategically placed in the entryway, living room, corridor, and dining area to enhance each area's ambiance. In the private areas, darker, more subdued tones like dark green reflect the owner's personal preferences.
Design Challenge
The primary challenge stemmed from the structural limitations of the old building. Initially, all interior walls needed to be demolished, and the layout had to be reconfigured without compromising the building's structural integrity to meet both Feng-Shui requirements and the owner's lifestyle needs. Additionally, since the two owners have different work schedules, the designers had to create flexible dual master bedrooms, allowing the residents to use them independently at different times, which added complexity to the planning.
Research
The project, 'La Galerie NO.24,' transforms an old apartment into an artistic yet functional residence. Inspired by feng shui principles, the design revolves around a 'white gallery' concept, with curved corridors ensuring an open and seamless flow. Bright spaces and concealed storage enhance simplicity, while wave-like walls introduce movement. Seasonal paintings-spring dew, summer sun, autumn breeze, and winter moon-are highlighted with focused lighting, bringing depth to the design. This renovation reflects the owners' vision of a free-spirited lifestyle, blending aesthetics with practicality.
Inspiration
The owner possesses a youthful spirit that deeply values freedom and art. If this space were to be likened to a specific image, it would be an all-white, unconventional setting. The designers used flowing curves to create the themes for each area. Paintings and furniture are the centerpiece of this project, embodying the free-spirited, artistic essence that flows through the owner's veins. The project is themed as a 'white gallery,' with green, blue, orange, and gray symbolizing the changing seasons, reflecting the passage of time experienced by both the residents and the space.
Project Duration
The project finished in May 2023 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow
The residents greatly appreciate the transformed space, especially the improved natural lighting and air circulation. They feel that these changes enhance both the aesthetics and comfort of their home. The design, inspired by the four seasons, creates a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, making time itself a part of the living experience. This artistic ambiance aligns perfectly with their lifestyle and taste, turning their home into a space that reflects both functionality and beauty.
