Thanks to this, the basis of the idea was born, which began to develop. And in the process of creating sketches, a new unique shape of the floor lamp appeared.
Rannsachadh: The main task of the study was to find a new relevant form of floor lamp and in this form convey the idea of a lamp, which is inspired by an ancient craft - knitting. For this, hundreds of hand sketches were created. After the shape was determined, it was necessary to carefully simulate the lamp from all sides, since the LED cord can bend, it was very important that it looked good from any angle.
Brosnachadh: In the collection, it was decided to combine cultural heritage, the search for the original form and functionality. The main artistic language is the association with ancient craft, namely knitting, is one of the most ancient types of decorative art. It takes its roots in the era of antiquity. The metal construction of the floor lamp resembles the interweaving of spokes during the knitting process, and the LED flexible cord resembles woolen threads.
Faid a' Phròiseict: The project started in January 2023 in Moscow and finished in January 2024 in Moscow, and was exhibited in Interlight in September 2024.
Sruth Obrachaidh: The light source in the floor lamp is a matte LED cord. Due to the fact that it is located at the top of the lamp, it can be used for accent lighting and for reading. It is created in the style of minimalism with a smooth oval shape of the cord. Therefore, it can be used in different interior styles. In terms of functionality, floor lamp can be used in different rooms: in the office, living room, bedroom and in public spaces.
