About Osia Villa Deseño de Interiores Residencial

Osia Villa é unha residencia privada situada nunha parcela de 2800 metros cadrados con vistas a arrozais. O deseño conecta as áreas interiores e exteriores, esvaecendo o límite entre o refuxio e a paisaxe. Dúas terrazas caracterizan a vila: unha terraza leste dispuesta para o almorzo e unha terraza oeste no segundo nivel utilizada para reunións vespertinas. Unha zona de asentos con pérgola no andar recreativo está soportada pola grella de vigas existente e enmarca as vistas do solpor. Os materiais foron obtidos localmente, e o pavimento emprega pezas de granito de refugallo.

Unique Properties: A private property overlooking paddy farms spread over 28,000 Sqft of land. The design intends to marry the inside and outside blurring the boundaries of a sheltered home.

Production Technology: The materials were sourced locally. The entire pavement for the villa was done in waste granite pieces.
Design Challenge: The challenge was to execute the pergola on first floor which was eventually supported by existing beam grid.
Research: The site location was a major inspiration for carving out spaces into the built structure. The pergola seating on the recreational floor was carved to create a sundowner spot.
Inspiration: The wide views of setting sun over the paddy fields is the main inspiration to form the private deck on the entertainment floor with a perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Project Duration: The project started in Feb 2017 and was completed by March 2019
Operation Flow: The design was made in Mumbai and all drawings sent to site to execute locally with regular interval site visits to check the progress.
