About Dragon Deseño de interior de restaurante

Dragon é un interior de restaurante situado nun edificio de oficinas de tecnoloxía financeira en Pequín. O deseño abrangue 2500 metros cadrados e busca unha atmosfera tranquila baseada en elementos naturais. Un dos principais retos era que o 80 por cento do espazo de comedor está baixo terra e non recibe luz natural. Por iso, a natureza simúlase. Fórmanse unha fervenza e unha piscina en formigón fundido con tecnoloxía dixital, e uns parrulos de cobre parecen nadar na superficie. Os comedores privados evocan a forma dun val, con plantas e estacións, e a luz simulada dá soporte a estes espazos pechados.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Research: cast concrete. simulated natural light
Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
Project Duration: 2019-2020, Beijing
Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
