About Tonk Mint Kankare Bango Fale-Falen

Kankanawa kayan gargajiya ne, wanda bai canza sosai ba tun lokacin da aka kirkireshi a tsakiyar shekarun 1800. Tare da Tonk, kankare yana da ma'ana da kuma fassarar zamani. Kowane ƙira na Tonk yana da tsararren tsari wanda za a iya keɓance shi ta hanyar wasa tare da kusurwoyi. Wannan kayan yana ba wa mutane damar tsara shinge na kansu gwargwadon dandano, zaɓi da kuma tunaninsu. Designirkin Mint ɗin an yi wahayi zuwa ga ƙirar Mint a cikin yanayi. Hakanan za'a iya amfani da wannan samfurin tare da bambancin don samun dalilai daban-daban, wanda shine halayen bambance bambancen duk ƙirar Tonk.

Unique Properties: We add new features and configurations to 170 years old concrete.
We end up with a contemporary, creative, sincere product. Thanks to the strong 3D design, one mint model give us an opportunity to create more than ten different motives on the wall

Production Technology: We use GRFC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) for our products. We use steel moulding techniques to bring our models to perfection.
Design Challenge: The biggest challenge in Mint's design was to stylize the nature-inspired mint motive to match the distinguishing factor of all Tonk designs: to stylize the motive to enable the designer to create different motives when used with different angles and patterns.
Research: Architectural design has been changing from traditional to contemporary, from complicated to lean. The new-old materials become in demand. Architects and interior designers are looking for new features and configurations of old-timers, such as concrete, glass, steel and wood. Mint is a reflection of this trend. Additionally, its design is inspired by nature. We have analyzed patterns in nature, chosen the motives of mint and stylized them to finalize our design.
Inspiration: Nature is at the heart of design, as it is at the heart of everything. Tonk has adopted the basic principle of using forms in nature by abstracting them in accordance with its own design philosophy, rather than simply imitating nature. This year the new series focuses on this understanding and reflects directly to the wall tile models. A form study was performed inspired by mint leaves in the "Mint" model.
Project Duration: The project started in September 2019 and finalized in January 2020 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Operation Flow: Mint is a very playful product, which enables designers to show their creativity and in this way which gives them high satisfaction in the design process. The designers can get different motives by playing around with the angles and the positions of the product. Moreover, Mint is very easy to install; it is just glued to the wall with ceramic adhesives.
