Teruo Miyahara

Teruo Miyahara was born in Tokyo in 1966 and studied concrete engineering at University in Japan. At 1999, he established Miyahara Architect Office to pursue an original approach in achieving quality living. He is also teaching at the ICS college of arts and Nihon University.
Prominent works include several residential projects, many of which have been awarded.

Teruo Miyahara is a highly acclaimed honoree of the internationally acclaimed A' Design Award in Gine-gine. Teruo Miyahara has won 4 A' Design Awards, with the Kyautar A' Design Award ta Tagulla as the highest distinction. Teruo Miyahara has been recognized repeatedly in the Gine-gine category. The recognition of Teruo Miyahara rests on the blind peer-review votes of an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members.

Across the editions from 2016 - 2017 to 2019 - 2020 of the A' Design Award & Competition, Teruo Miyahara has returned to the winners' circle again and again. On the world design rankings of Designers.org, Teruo Miyahara stands at position 3,229, and at position 199 among the designers of Japan.
