E Pili Ana iā Coral Primary Function: Mīkini Hoʻomehana Uila

Coral he mīkini hoʻomehana uila i hana ʻia me ka alumini holoʻokoʻa. Ua hana ʻia ke ʻano me ka polokalamu hoʻolālā parametric, nāna i hoʻoulu i kahi pihi pani me ka palena lōʻihi loa. Hoʻonui ka palena lōʻihi i ka hoʻopukapuka wela a hoʻolaha like i ka wela ma luna o ka ʻili holoʻokoʻa. Ua ʻoki ʻia ka pepa alumini 8 mm me ka laser a laila kālai ʻia no ka ʻōnaehana hoʻomehana uila, a kōkua ka mānoanoa i ka mīkini hoʻomehana e hoʻomau i ka mahana i loaʻa. Hāʻawi ʻia ʻo Coral ma ke ʻano huinahā a me ke ʻano poepoe. Hoʻonohonoho kahi noi kūikawā i nā lā a me nā manawa hana, ka wikiwiki hoʻomehana a me ka mahana.

Ka Hoʻomaikai

E Pili Ana i ka A' Design Award Kala

Ua lanakila ka hoʻolālā Coral Primary Function: Mīkini Hoʻomehana Uila i ka A' Design Award Kala, he ʻike hoʻohanohano nui loa i hāʻawi ʻia i nā hoʻolālā kiʻekiʻe loa, nani a kupaianaha. He mau hana ʻālohilohi loa a hana noʻeau nui nā lanakila Kala e hōʻike ana i ka loea, ka makakoho a me ka ʻoi aku o ka noʻonoʻo o kā lākou poʻe hoʻolālā. Manaʻo ʻia ʻo ka hoʻolālā Coral Primary Function: Mīkini Hoʻomehana Uila he hana kupaianaha, kūlana ʻoi aku, ʻoihana kiʻekiʻe a hou loa. ʻO kēia hoʻolālā i lanakila i ka A' Design Award Kala he mea hoʻokumu kūpono loa, mahalo ʻia e hāʻawi i ka pōmaikaʻi a hoʻoneʻe i nā palena o ka hana noʻeau, ka ʻepekema, ka hoʻolālā a me ka ʻenehana. He mea i ʻeleu ʻia e nā mea he nui ka hoʻolālā Coral Primary Function: Mīkini Hoʻomehana Uila e hoʻāla i ka makemake, lawe mai i nā manaʻo maikaʻi a hoʻāla i ka kamahaʻo a me ka mahalo.

High-performance electric radiators, made entirely of aluminum, can be controlled with the management app which allows you to set times and days of ignition, heating speed and temperature.
Coral radiators have been designed using a "Form Finding" approach, which, by exploiting parametric modeling, allows the search for new geometric expressions.

Coral's innovative characters are:
Use of generative parametric software,
Operation management via app,
Single material product,
High percentage of recyclability,
Wide palette of finishes.

Coral is offered in two formats, the 480X50X1480mm rectangular, which can be installed both vertically and horizontally, and the 800mm diameter circular one.

8mm thick aluminum sheet, shaped with laser cutting, subsequent processing by CNC milling machine for the electric heating system.
Use of parametric software AAD (Algorithms-Aided Design) for design generation.
Pilikia Hoʻolālā
The challenge was to "design" the algorithm to generate the radiator shape. Since we were focused on the goal of defining the longest perimeter, but without neglecting the aesthetics of the product, we carefully calibrated the parameters to generate the final shape, a balance between function and aesthetics.

A live physics simulator was used to generate the constant growth of a closed curve while maintaining its continuity. The goal was to define elements with an extremely extended perimeter, to generate a high thermal output and propose a distinctive aesthetic.
Hoʻoulu Manaʻo
Inspired by the research of generative systems applications, the Coral radiators are proposed as a meeting point between design and nature within our homes.
As in corals that weld sediments together and give rise to ever longer branches, a live physics simulator was used to generate the constant growth of a closed curve while maintaining its continuity. The goal was to define elements with an extremely extended perimeter, to generate a high thermal output and propose a distinctive aesthetic.

Coral, an example of how the evolution of man through technology is resolved in the forms of nature.
Ka Lōʻihi o ka Papahana
The project started in April 2020 in Rome and finished in December 2020 in Prato.
Kaʻina Hana
Coral is programmable via a dedicated app, which allows you to set times and days of ignition, heating speed and temperature.
The particular shape generated with AAD software, allows optimal heat distribution over the entire surface and optimizes the heat diffusion capacity in the room.
The high thickness of the aluminum sheet determines a greater maintenance of the reached temperature.
