About Fusion Hui Mea Kāhiko
ʻO Fusion he hui mea kāhiko i hana ʻia me ke kālā, i hoʻokumu ʻia e kahi apo a me kahi lei ʻāʻī. Hoʻokumu kahi algorithm i kahi iwikuamoʻo Voronoi, i hoʻohana ʻia ma ke ʻano hōʻailona no ka pilina kūlohelohe o nā ʻano. Hoʻohui nā ʻano i nā hiʻohiʻona e like me ka hoʻolaha ʻana o nā ʻēheu pulelehua a me ka ʻoi ʻana o nā ʻōpuʻu pua. Hōʻike nā kihi nānā like ʻole i nā hiʻohiʻona biomorphic like ʻole. He modular nā mea ʻelua, no laila hiki ke hoʻohui ʻia me nā mea kāhiko ʻē aʻe a ʻaʻahu ʻia ma nā ʻano he nui. Ua kūkulu ʻia ka hui ma ke ʻano 3D, i paʻi ʻia ma ke ʻano 3D, a hoʻoheheʻe ʻia i ke kālā me ke ʻano hana pēpa wax nalowale.

About the A' Design Award Hao
Ua lanakila ka hoʻolālā Fusion Hui Mea Kāhiko i ka A' Design Award Hao, he ʻike hoʻohanohano i hāʻawi ʻia i nā hoʻolālā maikaʻi e hoʻokō ana i nā koi ʻoihana a ʻoihana hana i manaʻo ʻia mai nā mea hoʻokumu i hana maikaʻi ʻia. Hōʻike nā lanakila Hao i ka mākau nui, ka loea kiʻekiʻe, ka ʻike akamai a me ka hiki hana noʻeau o ka poʻe i hana iā lākou. Manaʻo ʻia ʻo ka hoʻolālā Fusion Hui Mea Kāhiko he mea hoʻokumu i mahalo nui ʻia, hoʻohiwahiwa ʻia a aloha ʻia e pono a hou. ʻO kēia hoʻolālā i lanakila i ka A' Design Award Hao e hoʻohui ana i nā hana maikaʻi loa o ka ʻoihana a loaʻa nā ʻano ʻenehana mākaukau i hui pū ʻia me ka ʻike hana a me ka makakoho. Mahalo ʻia ka hoʻolālā Fusion Hui Mea Kāhiko no kona nānā pono a ua hoʻolālā ʻia e hāʻawi i nā hoʻomaikaʻi ola e kōkua ai i ka hana ʻana i ka honua i wahi maikaʻi aku.

- Unique Properties
- The collection is a fusion of the natural and the artificial, a collaboration between the designer's perceptual thinking and the algorithms. The algorithm is used to generate a Voronoi skeleton as a biological metaphor for the organic connection of forms. Different viewing angles reflect various biomorphic features, creating a subtle sense between the familiar and the unfamiliar. The delicate skeletal structure and lighting effects provide the user with a unique sensory experience.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The ring is 54*25*40mm, the necklace is 51*39*45mm.

- Design Challenge
- As an information experience designer who loves to challenge interdisciplinary design, I wanted to integrate the speculative design spirit of my discipline into the accessories, making the collection an inspiring narrative and reflection, more than just an aesthetic expression and decoration. The biggest challenge was integrating narrative and form as I tried to convey a complex idea. At the same time, ergonomics and processing technics also posed a challenge for me.
- Research
- With the development of genetic science, now we see the most fundamental codes of life as never before and even got hearts made of leaves and kidneys from pigs as transplants. In the future, no doubt more non-human components will become part of us, but what will a man be when he/she/they is made of parts that are not human? We and other creatures on earth evolved from some primordial mass of organic matter, and in the future, we will probably fuse again as one in a genetic way.
- Inspiration
- This collection is inspired by the concepts of genetic fusion and convergent evolution in biology, extracting the 'genes' of form from different species using movement as logic and fusing them to think about the homology and convergence of biological evolution: 'all as one, one as all.' It takes the movement 'stretch' as a starting point, blending features such as the spreading wings of butterflies, the uncurled back of humans, and the blooming of buds into the design of organic forms.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2021 in London and finished in February 2022 in London, and is not exhibited yet.
- Operation Flow
- This collection contains two pieces, both are modular, and users can wear them in various ways by combining different accessories.
They can be randomly generated multiple times; each individual is a member of a population, sharing the typical characteristics of the population but unique. - Team Members
