- The existing building and the new extension are made up of two interlocking programmatic blocks. The existing block is developed with a more closed character, maintains the heritage roof, and houses the main programmatic spaces; while the new block consists mostly of servicing spaces and is developed with an open character, with greater height, and with a glass roof. The floor plan maintains its original heritage and flavor with elements such as verandah, bay windows and stairs that reminds of the building's history. The annex, a gallery and multipurpose space is separated by a subtle corridor right next to the building. The old walls are kept without any demolition, leaving in sight the details and traces from past times and interventions that have manifested since.

- While the focus of the project was to rejuvenate the existing building, it strives to achieve more than just that. A series of strategies include the Introduction of new materials and features into the space are based on referencing to the existing building, its unique characteristics and function of the space within. Volumes and components made of new materials like steel and glass are inserted Into the building without touching the existing wails that is standing firm. This results in a contrast of transparency and texture, exposing the narrative between the old and the new

- Old meets New - The project is the exemplification of old architecture meeting the new. Old building that have good bones and character was carefully maintain and given a new lease of live, bathed with abundance of natural lighting in the interiors. The new added section is designed in steel and glass that seems to merge into the sky. The glass forms possessed its own contemporary spirit, it came to the design naturally ,finding their way into the plan.

- The existing building and the new extension are made up of two interlocking programmatic blocks. Volumes and components make of new materials like steel and glass is inserted into the existing building without touching the existing walls that is still standing firm. This results in a contrast of transparency and texture, exposing the natives between the old and the new. A calm reflective pool that comes right up to the base of the glass building mirrors the site along with the golden shower tree, heritage building, and new annex, blending them harmoniously and holding the viewers' attention.
