The project features a gradual Confucian-style interior layout with a progressive enclosed interior and private garden. Corridors, courtyards, and waterscape constitute a modern Chinese-style courtyard.

The 1800-square-meter house adopts a symmetrical layout based on the central axis. Taking the atrium garden as the axis, the ground floor serves as the elders' living space horizontally. There is also a Shanghai-style Chinese dining room so that relatives and friends at home can gather together. The longitudinal area is the main reception space, divided into the main reception area and the female guest lounge. The double reception living room layout is elegant and provides enough private room.

The two patios in the north and south ensure the lighting on the basement floor, and also make the basement full of greenery. It is a space for the hostess to drink tea and chat with friends. As the saying goes, when there is poetry in the heart, there is joy everywhere.
Noiʻi
To design a home is to realize an expectation about a family. Only by careful arrangement, can it condense the unique charm that belongs to this home.
Hoʻoulu Manaʻo
The layout is inspired by the traditional Chinese courtyard and the local culture and humanness of Shanghai. To meet the client's needs, this living space is designed to be classical, modern, and comfortable.
