Txog Froggie Lub Teeb Rooj

Froggie yog ib lub teeb rooj uas tau txais kev tshoov siab los ntawm lub neej nyob ob nrab ntawm av thiab dej ntawm cov tsiaj noj dej noj av. Tus qauv tsim no ntes tau lub sijhawm uas ib tug qav sawv tawm saum npoo dej. Ob lub qhov muag ntawm Froggie ua ke ua ob lub qhov chaw tso pom kaj, thaum lub cev uas tawm saum dej ua lub hauv paus. Ob lub qhov muag ntawd txawj ntxeev, yog li tus qauv qhov muag tuaj yeem hloov mus rau qhov chaw sib txawv los tsim tau cov duab pom kaj sib txawv. Muaj ib lub pob taus kov tshoov nyob rau hauv txhia sab qhov ntswg, yog li txhia lub teeb tuaj yeem raug qhib thiab kaw tas nrho ib leeg. Froggie tshawb nrhiav txog biomimicry (kev thooj yam li tej yam muaj sia) ua ib qho chaw tshoov siab rau kev tsim khoom uas muaj kev lom zem.

Yam Tshwj Xeeb: Froggie is a desk lamp project that inspires playful creativity. It captures the very moment when a frog rises above water. The eyes are represented as lighting sources, and the exposed body above water as a base.
Qhov Loj & Ntim: Width 256 mm x Depth 165 mm x Height (max.) 310 mm
*Sizes may vary
Cov Ntsiab Lus: Frog Lamp, Froggie Lighting, Frog Lighting
Thev Naus Laus Zis Tsim Khoom: Froggie's eyes are made to be bendable. Each nostril is equipped with a touch sensor button where users can turn on and off each light.
Kev Sib Tw Tsim Qauv: The most challenging part was to figure out proper representations for each design element, for example, how big its eyes should be proportional to the body, and how much its body should be shown, compared to the rest of its submerged part.
Kev Tshawb Fawb: Froggie is to explore biomimicry in design. It attempts to translate "double life" of Amphibians into lighting design language.
Kev Txhawb Siab: Froggie was inspired by "double life" of amphibians between land and water. Frogs have the permeable skin, which allows them to breathe through the skin in water. They also breathe through the nostrils above the water surface or on land.
Lub Sij Hawm Ua Hauj Lwm: The project began in January 2021 and finished in January 2021 in Banff, Canada.
Txheej Txheem Ua Hauj Lwm: Users are able to manipulate its eye shapes by adjusting their positions, which could render various lighting effects.
