Qingdao Steel Fortress konceptualni je izložbeni prostor stvoren unutar bivše industrijske četvrti u Qingdau u Kini. Obnova zadržava izvorni karakter zgrada, uključujući postojeću crvenu ciglu i zahrđalu čeličnu ploču. Anodizirani aluminij, noviji građevinski materijal, kombiniran je s tim starijim elementima kako bi se povezala prošlost i sadašnjost grada. Prvi kat sadrži privremenu izložbenu dvoranu, dok drugi kat čini glavni izložbeni prostor. Otvorena stubišta u javnom prostoru podupiru javne aktivnosti.
