Myndskreytingar eru persónuleg verkefni unnin af Maria Bradovkova. Markmið hennar var að æfa sköpunargáfu sína og abstrakt hugsun. Þau eru teiknuð með hefðbundinni tækni - litað blek á pappír. Handahófskennt skvetta bleks var upphafspunktur og innblástur fyrir hverja mynd. Hún sá óreglulega lögun vatnslitamyndar þar til hún sá vísbendingu um mynd í henni. Hún bætti við smáatriðum með línulegri teikningu. Abstrakt lögun skvetta var breytt í myndræn mynd. Hver teikning sýnir mismunandi mannlegan eða dýrarískan karakter í tilfinningalegu skapi.

Splash Myndskreyting vann A' Design Award í járni, virta viðurkenningu sem veitt er góðum hönnunarverkum sem uppfylla þær faglegu og iðnaðarlegu kröfur sem gerðar eru til vel hannaðra sköpunarverka. - Unique Properties
- Project consists of five illustrations. Each drawing started from a random splash of ink later detailed with linear drawing. Topic of illustrations was not planned before. Bradovkova let splash of ink to inspire and lead her. Each has its own dominant color — blue, vine red or brown. Drawings represent human or animalistic characters in emotional moment of lament, instinct, fear, melancholy and sadness.

- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to find harmony between abstraction and figuration. Not to change the form of splash but to make the most of it. Secondly to handle composition of whole picture.
- Research
- Bradovkova used playful and creative method in her drawing project. She combined organic form of watercolor with linear drawing. She created original and expressive characters.
- Inspiration
- Drawings represent personal project of Maria Bradovkova which she did as an exercise to challenge her creativity and abstract thinking. Presented works are part of series Drawing just today challenge, that she accomplished one drawing per day during October 2019 and published on her Instagram. The main idea was to be inspired by abstract irregular shapes of ink.
- Project Duration
- Illustrations were made during October 2019 in Cracow, Poland.
- Operation Flow
- Presented project can be an inspiration for creators to use this method in their own practice, to expand creativity and intuitive drawing. It allows subconscious to give a voice. Illustrations give space to feel and create stories.
