About Tcnk カーショールーム兼ガレージ
TCNKは、日本の新潟県に位置するカーショールーム兼ガレージである。建物は新たな開発地区の入口に建ち、ランドマークとなることを意図している。TCNKは、ガラス張りのショールームと、地上に浮かんでいるかのように見える2つの上層ボリュームを組み合わせている。5メートルのキャンティレバーと吊り構造により、これらのボリュームは一列の柱だけで支えられているかのように見える。最終的なデザインは、敷地の調査を経て作成された10案以上の提案の中から選定された。工事は2006年11月に着工し、2009年10月に竣工した。

- Unique Properties
- The location of this project is at the entrance of the new development area. Therefore, we realized a combination of a glass showroom and two floating volumes as a symbol.
To create the image of a floating volume, there is a 5 meter cantilever and suspension structure that makes it appear that the volume is supported by only one-lined columns. - Inspiration
- I investigated the site and found various inspirations.
An image that seems to spring from the ground.
Or an image that floats in the air.
After considering more than 10 proposals, this proposal was adopted, which resulted in a volume floating in the air. - Project Duration
- The project started in November 2006 and finished the construction in October 2009.
