Whyte Woolfは、中国・西安にあるフィットネスクラブのインテリアである。クラブは大規模な複合商業施設内の2,300平方メートルを占める。デザインは、古代東洋文化への参照と近代西洋の工業文化とを対比させている。天井、床、壁、家具の色彩は統一され、力強く一貫した視覚的印象を生み出している。素材には、環境に配慮したラテックス塗料、ミラー仕上げのステンレススチール、天然複合木材フローリング、モザイク釉薬タイルが用いられている。レイアウトは現地調査と三次元モデリングを通じて練り上げられた。

This project is in the inland central city of Xi 'an, which is the very famous ancient city of Chang' an in the Tang Dynasty in history, And the downstairs of the club is the Temple of Heaven, the historical relic of Xi'an. The altar is the place used by ancient people to pray for safe and prosperity, a complete symbol of agricultural civilization.
The western part of China refers to the vast region with Xi'an as the leading west. The West in the Chinese refers to Europe, to the west of Xi'an. However, the funny thing is that the invasion of this more western civilization is not from the west of Xi'an, but from sea in the east, known in history as "imported culture", that is, European civilization. Relative to the ancient "Eastern civilization "it is also called "western civilization" because it in the western part of China.
The idea is to use a modern western civilization to collide with an ancient eastern civilization, which is the dramatic effect that I want.
