About Horizon Below 75cm 乳児保育所
「Horizon Below 75cm（地平線75cm以下）」は、宜蘭県の農村地域に建設された、乳児保育のための公立保育施設です。乳幼児期は新生児期、乳児期、幼児期の三段階に分かれ、各段階で異なる感覚発達が育まれます。ファサードの開口部の高さは45〜75センチメートルに設定され、子どもたち自身の目線の高さから外の世界を眺めることができます。建物の延床面積は862.03平方メートル。現代建築の手法と、地域の気候に適した地場素材を組み合わせることで、施工を簡素化し、維持管理の負担を最小限に抑えています。

- Unique Properties
- Early childhood development encompasses three distinct stages; Newborn, Infant, and Toddler, wherein children experience varying levels of sensory development. To cater to the physical scale of children within each stage, the height of façade openings has been precisely calibrated to range from 45 to 75 cm, enabling the outer world to be visible from their own perspective.

- Reshaping the Rural Daycare
In contrast to urban areas, rural regions often face a shortage of public daycare institutions, daycare is handled personally. It is essential to address the necessity for establishing adequate facilities in rural areas with utmost priority. This project stands as the first newly constructed public daycare facility in Yilan with a primary focus on infant care, and a mission to provide health and childbirth education for expecting parents and nurturing environments. - Project Duration
- This project located at the intersection of section 3 Yicheng Road and Luan Road, Dongshan Township, Yilan County. This project started construction in April 2022 and finished in June 2023.
