Nest Within 住宅空間について

「Nest Within」は、共用の団らんスペースを広げながら、個室の面積を抑えることで、住まいのあり方を再構築しています。家族の暮らしを中心にデザインされたこの住宅は、洗練されたガラスの間仕切りを用いることで、わずかな仕切り感を残しつつ視覚的なつながりを生み出しています。白洲壁などの自然素材の採用により、室内の快適性と持続可能性が高まっています。この建築は単なる住まいではなく、日々のふれあいや共に過ごす習慣、そして深い情緒的な共鳴のために丹念に築かれた、かけがえのない安らぎの場なのです。

リサーチ: This project employs natural, eco-friendly materials sourced from Japan, prominently featuring Shirasu kabe plaster, a natural volcanic ash material known for its superior humidity regulation. By absorbing and releasing moisture, it maintains balanced indoor humidity levels while purifying the air by neutralizing odors and harmful substances. Paired with an optimized natural ventilation system, the design effectively stabilizes indoor temperatures, enhancing occupant comfort and aligning with sustainable, energy-efficient design principles.
インスピレーション: Traditional homes often emphasize private spaces, creating separation rather than connection. Nest Within reverses this by opening private zones to foster a fluid, interactive family environment. The design focuses on shared living, softening boundaries to encourage togetherness through openness and visibility.
プロジェクト期間: The project finished in June 2024 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
オペレーションフロー: Nest Within reshapes traditional residential flow by prioritizing shared spaces that encourage natural family interactions throughout daily routines.
