- Unique Properties
- Minimalism focuses on clean lines and simple forms, allowing for spatial clarity throughout the home. Anchored by a palette of black, gray, and white, the interiors feel both grounded and effortlessly sophisticated. Natural materials like warm wood hues and stone accents introduce the quiet beauty of nature, striking an elegant balance between rigidity and softness. At its center, the living room and dining room converge as a social hub, while the private quarters unfold outward, offering a deep sense of tranquility. This not only enhances the flow of natural light but also creates a clearer distinction between zones with different purposes, bringing clarity and harmony to the overall design.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- 116 square meters.

- Production Technology
- Paint-finished wood veneer, stone-pattern special coatings, large-format porcelain slabs, custom metalwork, custom-colored painted glass, small reeded glass, laminate herringbone flooring, system panels, engineered stone countertops, and lacquer finishes.
- Design Challenge
- Classical elements are woven into a modern design, allowing the two styles to coexist effortlessly. The herringbone flooring, the curved patterns on the kitchen sliding door, and the arched ceiling all nod to classical design. Reimagined through careful attention to proportion, scale, and material, these elements forgo ornate carvings to reveal a subtle classical essence. Whisper-soft textures flow effortlessly throughout the home, shaping a space that is both contemporary and cozy.
- Research
- The TV wall features dark slatted panels and sliding doors, elevating the visual impact of the feature wall while enhancing privacy. The wall behind the sofa is clad in wood to conceal the low structural beam. The contrast of light and dark tones acts as a visual spark, triggering interest and guiding the eye.
- Inspiration
- Drawing from the couple’s distinct tastes, the design marries his neat, modern aesthetic with her affinity for timeless, softly warmed classical touches. In essence, modern style defines the overall framework, while classical details are woven in subtly. Herringbone flooring is a classic style that stands the test of time, exuding effortless elegance. Complemented by graceful curves and arches, it oozes refinement and allows modern and classical elements to intertwine effortlessly.
- Project Duration
- The project was completed in July 2025 and is located in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City.
- Operation Flow
- With a cross-shaped traffic flow as the core, a horizontal axis extends from the entrance to the windows, creating long sight lines through the home. The perimeter-arranged bedrooms define the vertical axis, reinforcing a well-structured spatial hierarchy. At this intersection, the living room and dining room converge, forming a space for snuggling, talking, and connecting — a place for coziness and closeness.
