- Unique Properties
- This residential project is defined by a pursuit of calm through material unity and spatial clarity. A single concrete-like material forms a continuous architectural language across floors, walls, ceilings, doors, and stairs. Private and shared areas are subtly separated by a linear corridor boundary with sliding and pivot doors as key design elements. Open-plan living enhances daylight and garden views, while dark tones are reinterpreted through natural textures.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The total interior area of the house is approximately 325 square meters. The project features an open-plan layout that enhances spatial continuity while maintaining functional zoning through subtle architectural boundaries. Ceiling heights vary to support different spatial experiences. The material palette includes microcement surfaces, natural wood elements, and large glass openings to maximize daylight. Custom sliding and pivot door systems are integrated with concealed mechanisms. Lighting is designed with recessed and indirect LED systems to emphasize depth and atmosphere.

- Production Technology
- The project was realized using a combination of reinforced concrete structure and custom interior applications. A continuous concrete-effect surface was achieved through microcement coating applied across floors, walls, and ceilings to ensure material unity. Custom-designed sliding and pivot doors were produced using concealed hinge systems to maintain spatial continuity. Natural wood and textured finishes were integrated to soften the overall atmosphere. Lighting design was carefully embedded into architectural elements to enhance depth and perception. All construction processes were coordinated through detailed technical drawings and on-site supervision to ensure precision and consistency.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was achieving a strong and continuous material identity without creating monotony, which was resolved through careful detailing, natural textures, and controlled spatial transitions.
- Research
- The design is based on research into spatial perception, the psychological effects of minimal environments, and the role of material continuity in creating calm and cohesive living spaces.
- Inspiration
- The project is based on the idea that long-term livability in a home depends on a sense of calm. The aim was to create a quiet and balanced relationship between space, user, and material. Inspiration was drawn from minimalist architectural approaches that emphasize material continuity and spatial clarity. The design is supported by research into spatial perception, natural light, and the use of restrained material palettes to create depth without visual noise.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2024 in Bursa/Bademli and finished in September 2025 in Bursa/Bademli.
