Visual Reflection of quality of product using unique form language which is also optimized for manufacturing and cost-effectiveness.

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

Visual Reflection of quality of product using unique form language which is also optimized for manufacturing and cost-effectiveness. Generally, the market segment is filled with products designed using plastics or thermoforming to achieve difficult curves and form language that feels appealing to the user and comfortable to the patient. We have challenged the market by creating a unique form factor using sheet metal thereby optimizing the cost for such a product with low volume production.

What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

The main focus was to build a unique product that challenges the assumption "good curves and unique form language can only be achieved using processes like thermoforming, die casting, and so on". Using only sheet metal, a few bending, welding, and finishing processes Infinity has set itself apart in the market.

Did you choose to become a designer, or you were forced to become one?

For my profession, I knew I had a knack for a creative career but from the town that I hail from, design is a profession that is seldom heard about or is usually related to Fashion Design. Very few actually knew what a “Designer” does, maybe many still don’t. So, I somewhere knew it had to do with a creative profession but never knew what a designer exactly does, up until my academics in design. Thankfully I had well-informed people around to advise me to take up design as a profession.

Such projects are an expressway to gaining knowledge and becoming the next best version of yourself.
