Monolithic House 개인 빌라 소개

모놀리식 하우스는 제다에 위치한 개인 빌라이다. 건물은 전통 아랍 주택의 배치 방식을 따라 서로 어긋나게 배치된 세 개의 주요 매스로 구성되어 외부 중정을 형성한다. 외피에는 마슈라비야에서 영감을 받은 옛 사우디 전통 문양의 반투명 스크린이 적용되었다. 전동식 개폐 시스템은 일조량을 조절하고 남측 파사드에 차양과 프라이버시를 제공하며 자연 환기를 가능하게 한다. 구조는 콘크리트이며, 혼드 마감 트래버틴 석재, 블랙 스틸, 스투코, 월넛 목재로 마감되었다. 가족, 손님, 서비스를 위한 출입구가 각각 분리되어 있다.

고유 특성: Conceptual idea was to explore the architecture relation between indoor and outdoor spaces, through a composition of three main masses that were shifted to create external courts inspired from Arabic traditional houses. The house envelope was designed using semi-transparent screens, with old Saudi pattern that was inspired by (Mashrabiya), that have been used to give a dynamic visual interaction, guaranteeing privacy and shading on the south facade, and regulating the entry of sunlight by motorized openable system, while always allowing natural ventilation.

디자인 과제: -To create a quality living experience and redefine the image of a residential building in Jeddah while maintaining the climate requirements and privacy needs dictated by the Arab culture, were the main design challenges. -The client requested several separate entrances for gender segregation. -Based on the data collection the Architectural design direction is a mixture of Resort/Luxury design with traditional accents using natural materials. -Height limitation, Setbacks & maximum Built up area was dictated by Saudi Architecture Regulations.
