그랜드 오버추어(Grand Overture)는 중국 상하이에 위치한 약 1,000제곱미터 규모의 접객 홀이다. 아치형 구조가 여러 층에 걸쳐 빛과 그림자의 흐름을 이끈다. 오프화이트 색조의 석재, 어스톤 계열의 목재, 메탈릭 액센트가 질감과 온기의 켜를 형성한다. 아르데코 양식의 석재 상감 패턴과 헤링본 석재 바닥은 이 지역의 역사적인 무역 상관(商館)을 연상시킨다. 곡선형 계단이 방문객을 위층으로 안내하며, 엘리베이터 로비에는 빈티지 층수 표시기가 자리한다. 고전적인 아치와 바로크풍 곡선은 현대적인 기하학적 접근을 통해 재해석되었다.
