숨쉬는 보이드의 집(House of the Breathing Void)은 중앙 아트리움을 중심으로 구성된 주거용 주택이다. 아트리움은 공기와 빛이 자유롭게 순환하는 열린 보이드로 작용하며, 주택의 환경적 중심을 이룬다. 또한 아트리움은 내부와 외부 공간 사이에 끊임없는 대화를 만들어낸다. 이 주택은 생기후적(바이오클라이매틱) 원리를 따르며, 햇빛을 받아들이고 패시브 난방을 지원하며 자연 환기를 촉진하는 명확한 남향 배치를 취한다. 이와 동일한 방향성은 건물에 대각선 형태를 부여하는데, 이는 공간적이면서도 기후적인 대응이다.

- Unique Properties
- The “House of the Breathing Void” is conceived as a sanctuary of openness, a dwelling that breathes, listens, and connects. Anchored between earth and sky, the house establishes a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior, shaped by climate, light, and Mediterranean lifestyle. At its center lies an atrium, the open heart of the home, where air, light, and life circulate freely, forming both the emotional and environmental core.
- Inspiration
- The Atrium was the concept inspiration of the project. The house was conceived through bioclimatic principles, its geometry shaped by a clear southern orientation that captures sunlight, enhances passive heating, and invites natural ventilation. From this dual idea, the atrium and the orientation toward the sun, a diagonal gesture arose in the building’s form, a spatial and climatic response that defines its identity. Here, light becomes both material and structure, carving paths through the interior.
