About Ningbo Bauhinia Business Center Sêwirana Hundirîn a Ofîsê
Navenda Bazirganî ya Ningbo Bauhinia sêwiraneke hundirîn a ofîsê ye bi rûbereke 1548 metre çargoşe, ku li bajarê Ningbo, Chîna, cih girtiye. Sêwiran îlhama xwe ji termînalên konteynerên bajarê bendergehê distîne. Formên konteyneran, rengên geş û blokên geometrîk bi awayekî rêkûpêk hatine rêzkirin da ku karaktereke pîşesazî biafirînin. Her fezayeke takekesî wek qutîkek tê dîtin ku li ser hev tê danîn û ji nû ve tê belavkirin da ku deverên vekirî pêk bînin. Panelên metal ên pêçandî yên qalibkirî yên pîşesazî tekstureke lê zêde dikin. Perdegehên livbar deverên civînê ji hev vediqetînin, ku dikarin vekirî bimînin an jî ji bo taybetmendiyê werin girtin.

- Unique Properties
- The project is located in Ningbo, a city that was the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road and is still one of the most important port cities in China.
The design inspiration comes from the container terminal. By combining container elements, colors and geometric figures in an orderly manner, an industrial-style business center is constructed.
Taking the container as a box, each individual space is stacked and reassembled and redistributed through the whole space to form different open areas and structure.
At the same time, different containers interpret different colors, like the high saturation of building blocks and the color composition of large blocks. Combined with the interspersed blocks, they together form an industrialized, modernist aesthetic with a sense of "order". - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The work uses industrial die-cast corrugated metal panels as an important design element. Thick metal collides with bright colors, and the deconstructed space is paired with a well-organized order. These contradictions and conflicts are finally settle down and blooming in such an interior space.
- Design Challenge
- As an office, it should have both the privacy of the meeting and the transparency of the public area. Therefore, we must think about how to balance the functionality of the space. The designer uses movable partitions to divide a space of 1,500 square meters. The partitions of the conference area form a modular space. When there is no meeting, the open mode can be maintained, which can ensure the transparency of the overall space; when there are meetings, it can be closed, and the interior and exterior will not be affected by each other, which improves the efficiency of meeting office.
- Research
- The combination of line and surface is another design focus of this project. The lines are the characteristics of the container itself, and the industrial die-cast corrugated metal panels have a natural texture.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the container terminal, high saturation of container combined with the interspersed blocks in an orderly manner, and each individual space is reassembled to form different open areas, together form an industrialized, modernist aesthetic with a sense of "order".
- Project Duration
- The project finished in December 2020 in Ningbo, China.
- Operation Flow
- The freight containers on the wharf appear in the visual field of people in the form of architecture, such a unique shape can be regarded as a beautiful street scene. As a new, environmentally friendly and movable building material, it is increasingly favored by people and will gradually form a trend.
