About Skylight Dîzaynê Navxweyî yê Navenda Firotanê
Skylight navendeke firotanê ye li Yiwu ya Çînê, ku li ser rûberekî 600 metre çargoşe ye. Cihê navxweyî kûr e, û avahî xwedî dîwarekî perdeyî yê camê yê mezin nîne, ji ber vê yekê ronahiya xwezayî ya hundir sînordar bû. Pencereyên banî li ser banî hatin zêdekirin da ku ronahiya rojê bînin nav hundir. Şêweyê pencereyên banî îşaret bi banê caisson dike, ku hêmaneke xemilandinê ya mîmariya kevneşopî ya Çînî ye, li ser bingeha şêweyekî bîrê yê abstraktkirî. Materyal û rêbazên kevneşopî hatin bikaranîn da ku proje bi lêçûneke sînordar were temamkirin.

- Production Technology
- In this project, we did not use expensive materials or innovative technologies, but used a lot of traditional materials and technologies, so as to better complete the project at a limited economic cost.
- Design Challenge
- The biggest problem the project designer faced is that the interior space is relatively deep. Also, there is no large glass curtain wall on the exterior of the building, which blocks the natural light and leads to poor indoor lighting. The design strategy is to employ skylights and introduces natural light in through the fifth facade of the building, thereby solving the problem of insufficient lighting in the interior space.
- Research
- We deeply study the structure of caisson in traditional Chinese architecture, select the structure form of well shape, and abstract deformation of it. Deforms it through extracting and combing it with the skylight. Let light into the room. The ever changing light and shadow arouse people’s associations with life, awe and yearning for space.
- Inspiration
- The introduction of the skylight is inspired by caisson patterns, the decorative art of the ancient Chinese architecture. Caisson ceiling, the unique decorative part of the indoor ceiling in traditional Chinese architecture, not only represents the aesthetic value of the Chinese people, but also a spiritual symbol of the communication between heaven and mankind.
