QingZhu Lacus est sedes venditionum in urbe ChangSha quae etiam parvae bibliothecae munere fungitur. Spatium interius mille ducentos metros quadratos complectitur atque marmore, vitro tabulatisque ligneis exornatur. Superficies ita formatae sunt ut paginas libri aperti in memoriam revocent. Locus tranquillus visitatores ad legendum invitat atque ad libros impressos redeundum, cum multi iuvenes lectores nunc libros electronicos praeferant. - Inspiration
- The design inspiration came from designer daughter. They like e-books and electronic products very much. In fact more and more teenagers abandon paper books which will bring many bad effects. Designer hope that through this place more people can return to the paper books.
- Project Duration
- The project started in July 2018 in ChangSha and finished in October 2018 in ChangSha.
- Operation Flow
- In order to express desire designer created a quiet reading atmosphere by modelling the shape of pages of book in the space to arouse the power of reading which is being neglected by people in nowadays.It is peaceful and calm but full of power.It is believed that staying in such a space will inspire deep consideration and this experience will be a valuable memory.
