About Yappy Bookstore Primary Function: Buttek Interieurdesign

Yappy Bookstore ass en multifunktionnelle Bicherbuttek-Interieur zu Taipei, Taiwan, dee 450 Quadratmeter ëmfaasst. De Raum gëtt fir d'Liesen, Filmvirféierungen, Virträg a Musekopféierungen benotzt. Déi grouss Balken a Pilere vum ale Gebai gi wéi Kameraramme behandelt, déi d'Bléck iwwer d'Raim leeden. Antikbicher, Zillen, Eisen, al Fënsterramme a Beton gi kombinéiert, sou datt al an nei Uewerflächen ouni kloer Grenz openeentreffen. Eng rout Bichermauer féiert d'Visiteuren duerch den Interieur. Kleng Ëffnungen an de Maueren bréngen Dagesliicht eran, an eng héich Bün verwëscht d'Grenz tëscht Interpreten a Publikum.

Unique Properties: Transform the conditions of the old and abandoned space into advantages, break through limitations and shortcomings, the huge beams and columns in the old-style buildings are replaced by obstacles in the eyes of the designer to a camera's frame, and the romantic banquet is performed in the frame, showing the retro atmosphere Harmony, the texture of some old walls is preserved, and some of the surface cement is destroyed and buried in the original elements of the building to deconstruct, so that there is no boundary between the old and the new, showing a more story side.

Design Challenge: It is a challenge to limit the angle of looking for viewing in a long and narrow space as the core of the field. The two-way and open between looking and being looked are the main concepts of this design. The high stage blurs the stage boundary to allow the performer to integrate into the crowd at any time, and the audience also forms a sense of interaction in the visual performance. The original large arc-shaped window allows too much light to enter the field, and the interleaved arrangement of walls and windows is deliberately designed to form the spatial charm of the light beam. With deliberately digging a small hole in the wall to tell the story of stealing light in space, and expand people's desire for reading.
Research: Organic design often retains the essence of the space and uses open and transparent compression techniques to allow us to feel the breath of the flowing field in a seemingly static three-dimensional space building.
The space function combines film, reading, lectures, music performances and other exhibition activities. Professional sounds space research is inevitable. The three-dimensional layout floor creates a good sound-absorbing space. Created with spring structure and soft materials. Can absorb too much murmur rebound, I really like Wes Anderson ’s new cognition and borrowing of the bold and exaggerated sense of color and picture cutting in the movie, symbolically, so that the performer and the listener can be simultaneously without distance Get the best sensory effect. Weave a new imagination into a space for music, literature, and movies.
Inspiration: The design concept expresses the reality of time and space shuttle. In this traditional round building in the southern China style , the contemporary and hustle and bustle that has been walked through, the Age is nicked in the body. Yappy Bookstore is like the experience of wanting to enter Alice in Wonderland. With the red line taking over the space, the red book wall leads into a magical field where time flows in the literary space.
Project Duration: Jan-Agu.2019 in Taipei, Taiwan
Operation Flow: In order to embed more clues for reading, when designing the space, carefully thought out like carved text, staggering and stacking ancient books and bricks, and then covering them with concrete, the book is a carrier of space and time, revealing All the works need to be excavated, and they are presented with challenges through the different interfaces of books and red bricks and concrete.
